Going by FE:A as a basis for this thing, I'm going to lay some ground rules regarding spoilers.

1. Spoilers, in effect, amount to anything plot-related, character-related, and so on. If it's in official news (not including news about stuff from peoples' playthroughs, but things like the confirmation of same-sex marriages above) then it's not a spoiler because it's news.

2. Something like a random screencap from the untranslated game, like what Reiu was doing, is okay. Unless the moon-readers come after me for that.

3. Included in the "plot or character related" clause is who has which child, for example. That's still a spoiler, too. I'd even go so far as to say that listing/posting about who is recruitable is also a spoiler.

4. Lastly, talking about specific elements of gameplay - like new skill effects, specific levels, etc. - is also entering spoiler territory. Not the most grievous of spoilers, mind, but an edge case nonetheless.

These rules will remain in effect until everyone who is interested in playing the game has done so. I'm marking this as roughly 1 month after the English release; after that date, all talk about the game can be done outside of spoilers. As per usual, forum rules do apply for spoiling things; and if you have any questions, then feel free to ask me to clarify stuff. Normally I'd just keep my head out of the thread since I'm interested in this as well, but I think it ought to be kept spoiler-free since it's a pretty big thing and there's going to be a long, long wait until the English release still.

Also, lots of people do use the activity stream, so don't just make a post with a spoiler in it even if you tag it; add some blank "---" lines or other relevant non-spoiler text for a couple lines above it so that the spoilers don't show up on the activity stream. I wish that was fixed, even though I'm not an activity stream follower myself.

Okay now that those draconian rules are firmly in place... everyone have fun!

they just showed up in the country with no prior history and ended up working for the royal family. That's pretty much it. The Gaius, Tharja, and Cordelia clones are implied to be reincarnations in Shara's S-Support with Kamui.

Lots of people are worried that the incest might toned down or removed for the localization, sort of like what was done for Awakening with the cousins that could get together.

Now it's time to take bets: which will get more flak in Western media, the incest or the homosexuality?
