Arvis makes basically a complete face turn throughout gen 2, as he hates the way things turned out and comes to deeply regret basically everything he did, and decides to take a stand against Seliph when he didn't need to, so he can die as the villain the world had needed, while also deliberately providing Seliph with the weapon needed to defeat him.

Now, Ishtar would be a better analogy. Ishtar is a truly trash person, because she knows exactly how much evil she is party to, and does not like it, and goes through with nearly all of it anyway. Most Camuses are retarded, but Ishtar is actually evil.

Tsukihime does have a fully translated version. It's just not official. Also, personally experiencing something and just reading a secondhand source are 2 different things.

Doesn't even have to be PC. I got every game pre-Tellius running on my phone. All of them have excellent translation patches.

I'd highly recommend you try FE4 if you're interested in politics and such. It's the direct inspiration for much of 3H's story, and Arvis is probably the most interesting fire emblem character of all time.

So I just bought Tokyo Mirage Encore because the local store I usually buy games from put it on sale. Probably won't touch it for awhile, but I remember hearing that it is the "SMT x FE" game that people were hyped for and I know nothing of it until now. Hopefully it will deliver the good stuffs of both franchises like the mature story tone and the high difficulty gameplay. I'm surprise they did not choose Persona to collab tho, that would've been a more marketable choice.

If you like JRPGs I hear TMS is fine. There are even people who would call it great. It's got everything you might expect from a modern Persona-inspired game: cute high school girls you can dress up by buying DLC, plot lines recycled from idol shows and persona games, a big singalong at the end, a bland self-insert protagonist, lots of time-wasting side content, and an overly complicated combat system, along with a bunch of Fire Emblem references to remind you that this unfortunately isn't just an original IP.

As is obvious, I happen to hate everything mentioned above. But that's just personal preference.

I'm one of those people BTW. Although I'd say it's more Sailor Moon plotline than idol shows. I don't even mind the censoring they did for the west, I like the new costumes over the bland bikinis, and the low cut wedding dress MS paint solution never stops being funny. I just wish the didn't cut the hot springs interlude out though, I've heard it's a fun one.
