I mean I haven't read F/GO but considering the amount of text, I'm pretty sure it's far worse than F/GO ever was.

That said, I've played other mobages before and understand barebones story is the norm, so it doesn't bother me

I feel like FGO had more my room lines for the characters even when it started giving them more personality, and the story was more robust since it had lore and some real character interactions. But yes, one hopes that Heroes gets its act together on those fronts soon with the addition of friendship events with the characters.

Fire Emblem Heroes just launched with 100 PCs; Grand Order didn't hit that total until the America chapter. Common sense says that GO's going to have a lot more text and dialogue on a per-character basis.

There's nothing common sense about that though. GO was explicitly aimed to be more story-focused than gameplay.

Gotta say, Cain is a great freaking tank. Brave Sword for damage, start of turn attack reduction for nearby enemies (-3 at rank 1, -4 at rank 2), special reduces damage by 30% every 2-3 actions (depending on rank), and can warp to injured units. All while riding a horse. Highly impressed.

Finally rolled Hector. Also got a decent healer with Minerva. Other two units were only R Niles and Subaki.

Oh jesus, Hector's Armads. Only thing that could make that more broken is if he could ignore range.

Edit: And as soon as I type that, I notice he eventually gets Distant Counter.

The real question is when they'll implement the marriage system. :V

After clearing the normal february missions, you unlock the hard ones, which include clearing 2-1 and 2-5 on hard under certain conditions (also 10 intermediate arena wins)
so to save like 17 stamina if you care, leave hard until you unlock those missions
also, half AP training missions until the 20th.

Literally all I've done today (and arena). I've power leveled everyone of importance to at least level 17 and gotten over 130 of the Transparent Badges. By comparison, I only got 8 Verdant Badges yesterday. Though I need to do a few missions and try to unlock the Fifth Stratum, because the Fourth just isn't cutting it anymore.

Crashed at a friends house yesterday cause we were being goons with this thing.

My initial rolls were garbage, but I got a 5* Ogma later on which was nice and the gacha gods rained mercy on me with a 5* Lucina on my last roll yesterday.
