Hey, Honkai Impact looks way better than that game. I'd actually play it if I didn't suspect my phone would only get 15 minutes play on it before the battery died.

Really? All but one of the Discord servers that I'm a part of still have their NSFW sections. As for Tencent: https://www.siliconera.com/tencent-h...t-shareholder/
Then expect it to disappear some time after the 28th, I guess. Sounds like they're taking it down themselves so they can avoid having to go through whatever process there is that gets a group unbanned after breaking ToS.

We'll see after my birthday, then. Then again, as with most Discord activities, it's more what Discord doesn't know can't hurt me.
Mainlanders don't use discord though so Tencent actively censors oversea NSFW stuff makes no sense.
On another note, Steam censorship makes no fucking sense. Localized Miel eroge contents are on Steam! So why are low-ecchi are the ones being censored? Which either could be:
1. There are people in Valve who handle this are split on what type of games are allowed.
2. Japanese devs self-censor.
Most likely the latter since the whole "global standards" excuse.
Like I said, games like Mary Skelter and Omega Labyrinth show that "global standards" are and should be as unenforceable as the pirate's code.
Well, I'm gonna chop up some Yellow Turbans in Dynasty Warriors now. Actually, when is Amakusa going to be in the new Samurai Shodown?
I saw that ubisoft game trailer and from my understanding youre playing as an government issued secret elite task force to kill rioters and hackers who steal followers from the president social media account? Sounds more like government propaganda than a game lmfao
So a modern day Yellow Turban stage in a Dynasty Warriors game?
And don't forget that Samurai Shodown's and Makai Tensho's portrayal of Amakusa is basically a dead, angry rebel leader. Of course, America dug its own hole, in that regard for glorifying rebels who rebel for nothing more than the sake of rebellion (Rebel without a Cause). The only reason that there isn't a V for Vendetta 2 is because it would reveal the first movie as nothing more than folly.

Well, Umbra literally means shadow so I'm sure it is meant to be indicative of a literal 'shadow organization' rather than what you'd think considering this game must have been in development for a few years - but then again I know absolute jack shit about American culture. Other than that it looks like another shitty mobile game likely filled with microtransactions anyway.
Obviously that's how Ubisoft would defend the name if asked, and maybe it even genuinely was innocent (though while the issues have been flaring up recently, Black Lives Matter has certainly been around for more than a few years). But surely someone along the line in production would take a look and say "maybe this could be taken badly?".
Remember that game a couple years ago where you played a black ops sleeper agent that was reactivated to help kill rioters and seccesionists?

Umbra means shadow and has literally nothing to do with anyone's skin color.
