Okay that's a bit longer than the last trailer, which was just the galaxy zoom in and the asari in front of snow. But is that a dead reaper shadow?! Everyone thought this was going to be a prequel since there's almost no way to continue after the end of 3 with how divergent the endings can get. Maybe Liara becoming the Shadow Broker or an Anderson spectre training story. Now I want to see where they try and take the story, like are they going to choose an ending and piss off everyone who picked Destroy/Synthesis?

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
According to speculation (aka coy dev responses on Twitter), the new ME is supposed to tie in both Andromeda and the trilogy. How they plan to do that is anyone's guess. I mean, they could timeskip a thousand years into intergalactic travel, but they'd still have to explain away Destroy/Control/Synthesis/Refuse.

Muvluvs original designs are intentional parodies of old archetypes and stock design traits of the 90s and early 00s, to amplify the genre shift twist. I guess these days the twist is old news and the mecha side is what everyone expects, so they wanna move away from that, they already changed the designs for the anime.
