The bigger part of the problem is that a lot of it are games I'd supposedly like, but because of actually both a substandard currency and import tax, brasil's nintendo prices skyrocket. I mean, console game prices rocket in general, but if you buy less than like 8 games, which let's be real, it's how many games most of the population are getting, you're still getting off cheaper than a pc that can run the same things with cheaper games thanks to steam.

Oh yeah, today is Todd Howard's day. I'm not buying Skyrim for the 3rd time but I would definitely pay the price of five Skyrims for the Cyrodiil, Atmora and Morrowind mods.

This is some eerie timing. Sony showed up and lost the battle 10 years ago, then Nick comes in and gets press thanks to the memes, and now Cartoon Network's doing one?

Yeh. Well Warner in general, not just Cartoon Network. So it's also got DC, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc.

They're really pushing their voice actors as part of the advertising on twitter so I think they're intentionally clowning on how nobody in the Nick one was voiced.

The WarnerBros one also looks a lot more visually polished in general, from the trailer footage anyway. The Nickelodeon fighter is supposedly mechanically solid but it just isn't a very nice game to look at - clashing character aesthetics, janky animations.

I heard that some of the Steven Universe characters aren't the original VA's too. Not that I'd know, never having seen it.

I think Nick suffered from small budget. Whilst coding isn't particularly easy nor cost effective, asset production is so fucking costly that you can suffer without proper budgeting.

In all serious, it looks like a fun game. Definitely reminds me a lot of Vampyre, but with a mechanical bend. I'll keep an eye out for it in the future.

The second I saw the game's tagline of "You must always lie to others if you hope to become human" I was IN.

In all seriousness game looks really inspired and interesting. I'm excited for it and hope that it's not gonna be stuck in development limbo, what with no release date and all that.
