For all the shit he's gotten over the years for being a tool, Leffen has really stepped up to become the hero we needed, even if we don't deserve him. Who else is innocent? Mkleo? Fatality? Dark Wizzy? BestNess? Samsora? Void? Who will be the pillars of our new community?
Honestly, I'd think the idea of "pillars of community" itself needs to undergo revision. Or rather, the idea of giving individuals so much power or influence over others. I don't think said power should exist in the first place, in the case of the FGC.

That's impossible though. It's not like those people are chosen our of nowhere, people start gathering around members of the community that do or have something they admire, whatever that something may be: their streams, their funny tweets, their ability with video-games, etc.
