Yeah, but normally once they stop putting out consistent DLC you've got about two years until the next entry. It's why a FighterZ 2 feels likely, since they've only put out Labcoat 21 in the last few years.
The only thing that throws it out of whack is the pandemic, so what gaps would normally be taken as the devs hunkering down for the new iteration could just as easily be the studio unprepared for remote work and things slowing to a crawl.
