He has a point though.
Im not mean unless I have a reason to be.
That's why I added the pic. This is Adult!Hans
So this one is just one I've played around with for a long time, never quite managed to get the second Noble Phantasm working in a way that seems both functional and true enough to how the legend went. Finally came up with something of a solution today and the result was... well, this guy.
King of Listenoise, son of King Pellam and brother to Kings Pelles and Alain, the great and chivalrous King Pellinore was born into the lineage of Joseph of Arimathea, the man who had buried Jesus himself. This lineage bore the heavy duty of guarding the Holy Grail, a sacred artefact, but Pellinore was never really interested in things like this. He found such pomp and tradition to be stifling and oppressive, so he promptly deserted his duty and went about chasing imaginary creatures instead.
PellinoreKing of the Isles
Class: Berserker
Alternate Classes: Lancer
Parameters:
STR: B
END: B
AGI: C
MGI: C
LCK: D
Background
It was during his hunt for the Beast Glatisant, which would soon enough become another blood duty for his family, that he met Arturia Pendragon, the High King of Britain. He fought with Arturia three times and eventually won after Arturia, in a rare break of character from her normally honourable and dutiful sensibilities, acted against the rules of engagement, seeking an advantage in an unchivalrous manner. It was this act of unknightly behaviour that allowed Pellinore to shatter Arturia’s favoured blade Caliburn, though he was prevented from gaining the full measure of victory by a well-timed enchantment from the magus Merlin.
As reparation to Pellinore and in deference to his considerable skill in one-to-one combat Arturia inducted him into the Knights of the Round Table, and he fought alongside Arturia to quell rebellions against the inhumanly perfect king. However, he inadvertently triggered a blood feud and would later come to doubt in the Holy Grail and the ever present quest for it. Throughout his life he regularly took off on personal hunts to continue to chase the Beast Glatisant and for a time ruled as a monarch known as the Maimed King, injured by a holy spear and unable to be healed until his faith in the Grail was restored.
At the end of his life, old and withered, Pellinore passed away as a man of regrets, having never caught the Questing Beast he had dedicated his life to chasing, nor ever truly reconciling his distaste for the Holy Grail with his family’s divinely-appointed duties as its guardians. Thus the reason for his appearance in the Holy Grail War is twofold: to take another chance at guarding the Holy Grail and perhaps getting to experience it with his own two eyes, thus restoring his faith in it and in his family’s duties, and secondly to perhaps chse the Questing Beast once more, a lonely huntsman tracking down an equally lonely beast for all of eternity.
Class SkillsMad Enhancement
Mental capacity is sacrificed in return for enhanced physical parameters. Cannot be disabled normally, and while active may inhibit some Personal Skills or Noble Phantasms.
- D: Not true insanity but rather a curse to endlessly pursue a single target with little thought for any other action. A skill forcefully gained as a result of Pellinore’s constant attempts to find the Questing Beast. Pellinore gains a Rank Up to STR, END and AGI while fighting the target of Endless Quest, but when fighting any other enemy suffers a Rank Down to MGI and LCK.
Personal SkillsEndless Quest
A personal quest that can never truly be completed, this skill compels the user to specific action. This skill cannot be removed unless the quest is somehow miraculously completed.
- A: As a result of a curse laid upon his family to pursue the Questing Beast forever, this Skill automatically designates one other Servant as Pellinore’s “Questing Beast” once all the Servants have been summoned. Pellinore gains the ability to sense when that Servant is nearby, and his Mad Enhancement will compel him to pursue the target ceaselessly once sensed. Use of a Command Seal can temporarily reassign another person as Pellinore’s target, but his fury at being deceived once the Seal wears off will be significant. If the true target of this Skill is killed, another Servant is randomly assigned to become the “Questing Beast” thanks to the endless nature of the bloodline’s curse.
Guardian of the Grail
The user is someone who has taken on the duty of protecting the Holy Grail. As such, conflicts which involve directly defending the Grail from others result in an increase in Parameters.
- D: Born into the bloodline of Joseph of Arimathea, Pellinore has inherited the task of guarding the Grail from those who would misuse it, even if the Grail he has been tasked to protect is nothing but a false chalice. This ability manifests as a Rank Up when fighting anybody after the Grail becomes ready to grant wishes, generally once five Servants have been slain and entered the Grail. However, he does not hold much stock in his family’s duties, and would much rather chase after mysterious beasts or fight valiant knights for glory and entertainment, so he only receives a Rank Up to LCK and MGI rather than the full array of Parameter increases that might normally be expected.
Battle Continuation
The ability to continue to fight in desperate predicaments despite severe handicaps through sheer force of vitality.
- D: Pellinore is a hearty, hardy warrior, who fought the King of Knights Arturia for three days before finally emerging victorious. This version of the skill reflects Pellinore’s inexhaustible will to battle and to chase the Questing Beast, allowing him to ignore minor-to-middling level wounds until the conclusion of a battle, and enhances his END by a Plus modifier with regards to the stamina for battle, though his physical durability towards damage is not enhanced by this END modifier.
A knight’s jousting lance, which bears a passive ability of “cancellation”. It rejects prana upon contact, acting along the lines of the Skill Prana Burst to damage weapons it clashes with, as long as they bear potent magical power within them, whilst also rejecting magical effects in a manner similar to Gae Dearg.ArthursbanePride-Shattering Lance of Chivalry
Rank: B
Type: Anti-Unit
Target: 1-2
Range: 2-4
The lance also bears an active ability which, upon declaring the name of this Phantasm, can cause even a Noble Phantasm of high grade to shatter instantly when it clashes with this weapon if the enemy is deemed to have been unchivalrous in this battle. However, the active ability has a steep cost, and Noble Phantasms of a Rank equal to or higher than Arthursbane will eventually recrystallise after several hours to a day or two. However, when Arthursbane is used to break a Phantasm that was actually broken in legend, the effect is permanent regardless of the Rank of the destroyed Phantasm.
Additionally, the active ability is sealed through the effect of Mad Enhancement unless the person Pellinore is fighting is currently the target of his Endless Quest skill. It appears that this Phantasm is a result of conflation of various stories and misunderstandings, as in life it was a sword that was used to break Caliburn, not the lance initially used by Pellinore on horseback.
Beast Glatisant is an odd Noble Phantasm, as it is one not under the control of Pellinore himself. Instead it manifests as a personalised Bounded Field internalised within the target of Endless Quest, forcibly altering the “apparent” Origin of the target to that of Ruination, overlaying the true Origin with another one that the World recognises as the primary nature of the enveloped being. It is not a barrier that can be detected magically as it is not truly Thaumaturgy that generates this effect, but rather a realignment of the World’s perception in a manner not dissimilar to the creation of a World Egg. However, unlike World Eggs this effect does not impose anything unWorldly upon the Supreme Reality Marble of Gaia and is thus not pressured to collapse by the World, making the prana cost for this Noble Phantasm almost nil.Beast GlatisantSymbolic Abomination of a Kingdom’s Ruin
Rank: C
Type: Barrier
Target: 1
Range: 1-99
The Origin of Ruination causes plans and actions taken by the targeted person to have a far greater chance of failure, and the target’s Luck Parameter is treated as Rank E-. Additionally, all Check Rolls made by the target have their DC doubled, except when actually engaging Pellinore in combat, due to his desire to have worthy combat, even with the beast he hunts. The final effect of Beast Glatisant is a mental affliction, causing the targeted person to regularly glimpse the chimera-like form of the true Beast Glatisant as a phantasmal animal slinking around nearby, causing effects of increased paranoia and belief that the beast is causing misfortune. This mental compulsion is of a moderate level but can often disrupt concentration and other mental-based techniques without some form of defense against the interference.

Pornaleff?
Pornaleff is popular enough to inspire at least one expy of himself in a fighter game. Not surprised.
Polnareff, what are you doing with Gil's armor?
So this was an old bio I had lying around as a guy who'd end up being a Big Bad or something for a False Grail War set in Australia. The idea was nothing special, just played with the conceit that Australia is too young of a nation to really have heroes, so the one that it does have gets a big boost from being on Australian soil.
He's a tank-type Servant, great at taking damage but lousy at dishing it out, since his guns are nothing speial at all. Even his "Reality Marble"ish Phantasm isn't all that impressive, because in the end he's not some big powerful villain, he's a young HS with no special deeds and only the fact that Australia has nobody else to speak of as a significant detail. 100% plotwank Servant.
Ned KellyThe Iron Rogue
Class: Archer
Alternate Classes: None
Parameters:
Strength: C
Endurance: D
Agility: D
Mana: D
Luck: D
Boosted Parameters
Background
The Kelly family is a mage family of relatively recent appearance at the time of Ned’s legend, as he is a third generation mage. The family’s speciality is metal alchemy, but at only three generations in it is not particularly good-quality magery. This is how the Kelly brothers shaped their legendary armour, through rough and brutish alchemical methods. His method of alchemy is in the setting of traps, and the traps are inelegant, trading subtlety and utility for direct overpowering force. His guns are magically enhanced with Reinforcement as well, making them more threatening than they might be expected to be.
Class SkillsIndependent Action
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the prana supply from the Master. At the higher ranks it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without a established contract.
- B: Archer is able to exist for up to 48 hours without a Master’s contract or an alternative prana source, and can survive having his spiritual core damaged, though he can only manifest as an intangible spirit in this case.
Magic Resistance
Grants protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects prana, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
- D: Cancel Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.
Personal Skills
Natural Weapon
The skill of a Servant who has body parts that function as dangerous weapons, such as claws or darts, or is highly practised in some form of unarmed combat, whether it be through techniques like martial arts or through the brute strength of someone who regularly gets into drunken brawls.
- D: Archer was known for being an imposingly large man, requiring many people to subdue him when he resisted arrests, and for having gone 20 rounds of barefist boxing with an associate of his and coming out on top. Effectively, Archer was a tough brawler of a man and was not afraid to show it. He can fight perfectly well up close without his guns, striking with his full enhanced strength for reasonable damage. When Homefield Advantage is active the Rank for this skill becomes D+, essentially doubling its value to Archer in unarmed combat.
Rebellious Spirit
The temperament to never remain at one location and never embrace a lord. A wandering star that does not have the capacity to be king nor is capable of finding his own king.
- B: Archer’s temperament was truly one fit for a bushranger; raucous, brash and refusing to bow to any authority. His rebellious spirit negates the effects of Charisma and other non-mental influence-related skills of a rank lower than this skill.
Subversive Activities
The talent to reduce the enemy forces in the preliminary stages, before going into battle. An expert of traps. However, the higher is the ranking of this Skill, the more one's spiritual status as a hero declines.
- C: Archer became famous for being a bushranger. That is to say he hid in the bush and ambushed those who passed by with traps and guerrilla tactics. His traps can lower the combat effectiveness of his enemies by 20% when entering the fray.
Boosted Personal SkillsDescription: In normal conditions Archer’s famed armour is able to deflect normal attacks of up to Rank B and Phantasmal attacks of up to Rank D without damage to Archer himself, and dampens attacks stronger than those Ranks by an equivalent amount. However, the armour does not cover Archer’s legs, leaving his naturally low Endurance as his prime weakness. The armour does also grant the equivalent of Galvanism Rank C, converting the majority of immaterial attacks into harmlessly dissipated prana on impact.Iron BucketProtection Crafted of Ploughshares
Type: Anti-Unit: Self
Rank: C
Range: 0

Boosted Phantasm
Description: In normal circumstances this Phantasm creates a temporary wraithlike quadrupling of Archer's Heroic Spirit archive details, essentially replicating him into existence as the other three members of the Kelly gang, who’ve simply become subsumed into his tales. In such a circumstance the duplicates are unable to move from where they are summoned, simply being used as decoys and to lay down a greater level of firepower, but Archer is able to swap places with any of his duplicates seamlessly, making the decoys more effective and allowing him some level of strategic positioning decisions.Siege of GlenrowanThe Final Stand of the Outlaw Kelly Gang

fame boosts don't change an NP. NP-wise it just adds NPs.
Conceit is kind of correct. "an ingenious or fanciful comparison or metaphor."
I'm going to create an absurdly powerful (though totally legitimized and reasonable given the scope of his achievements) Servant profile soon. Prepare your QQs, for I will be drawing them out indefinitely.
