Normal Herc is so handsome, wow.
Ayaka in a maid uniform is cute, too.

If Watcher really is Moby Dick then I really wonder what explanation there is for all the Shadows' identities. Ahab I get but the others got nothing to do with him.

As long as we're talking about him, Moby Dick was supposed to be a Divine Beast right?
Archer Herc is adorable...I was fine with Alkeides all this time but only now do I feel legitimately robbed

Of fucking course Gil and Enkidu both wear maid outfits and laugh like morons in it. Maid Ayaka and butler Richard is adorable but LOL, Buzzcola's servant isn't even with him

Its kind of amusing comparing the curly haired shots with burns to summonable Asclepius.
I'm getting major Danganronpa vibes from baby Herc. The giant eyes combined with the wild hair?
"I ask you, are you my Servant?"
After a short silence, the Heroic Spirit replied, "All right..."
He unfurled some cloth and put it on – from his shoulder to over his head, covering his face.
"For the sake of exacting my revenge... I will use you. And if you no longer have any value, your head.... I'll twist it off.huh. That'll teach me to question old me.After a brief lapse of silence, the Heroic Spirit answered.
"...Why not?"
He spread the cloth that he had been wearing on his shoulders, and draped it over his head so that it concealed his face.
"In order to achieve my revenge... I will use you. When you lose your value... I will twist your head off with my own hands."

wait I thought Watcher was Nemesis
[racial slur that will get me banned] heracles be like:
my step mother made me do bad thing peepeepoopoo waah waah now i will be an annoying edgelord who hates the gods and conceal my ugly face owo
That was just one of the many theories that were thrown around. I think the Moby Dick one was also mentioned, but can't remember

Yeah, Moby Dick was supposed to be a DB acording to Nasu
My theory for now is maybe "Moby Dick" is just the most famous recorded name of some entity that delivers divine punishment or something close to those that sin of hubris
What?

Talk about timing
I imagine it might manifest as Zeus for Asclepius and the Sun for Icarus?
now if only Prelati was the first to die![]()
I think an explanation for how Moby Dick is connected to the shadows (for those shadows that are known), is that they all died or fell into a sea of some sorts.
- Ahab got overboard and drowned
- Amelia Earhart presumably crashed at sea and was never found
- Icarus fell into the sea
Now for Asclepius, the only thing I can think of is how his body was put among the stars (Space being a "Sea of Stars")
The other shadows I can't really put my finger on.
Edit: Sasaki Kojiro died on an island in one of the versions of his legend after the battle against Musashi, so that Samurai might be him?

I think it's just because Moby Dick it's a representation of divine punishment due to hubris.
Orion was planning to hunt down every beast, right? I guess instead of a waifu shot or a scorpion, he had an incident while fishing (Zeus know, he does give huge Cuchulainn vibes). Wonder why the knight was omitted, too spoilery?
The hubris theory makes the most sense with all the forms being people who fell to it. So if all of them are Watcher's victims, that would make Watcher an embodiment of Hubris, or Nemesis.
