What gave you that idea? If anything, the Fake’s are generally superior to the True Servants. The only True Servant that’s overwhelmingly superior to his Fake counterpart is Berserker. The Assassins and Casters are more difficult to compare due to different specializations, but Fake Archer/Lancer/Rider are stronger than their True counterparts. Or looking at it another way, of the five really broken Servants of this war, three are Fakes.
True Lancer doesn’t even exist yet though. You can say he’s weaker than Enkidu.
But basically in the end, true and fake just amount to the nature of the ritual not powerlevel (and even then considering watcher's summoning how 'true' the current ritual is is suspect)
Though in the end, tampering with the Grail war is nothing new I guess. The 'fairest' Grail war so far I'd probably fragments and that one was such painful one sided hax.

Also I don't think I've ever disliked saber, so I wonder why the volume that features the most of Richard's fanboying over her are the only Richard scenes I'm not that fond of. Maybe cause it's zero? Though I don't think I've ever disliked zero either

"Believe in the Flat that believes in Waver!" I guess. Also we still have Pale Rider and Dumas so they maybe to unfuck all of this somehow
Fragments ended with a Beast, so I’ll still take /Zero as the fairest.
Good point

Well, if we are absolutely nitpicking, the fairest Grail war was the 4th Fuyuki from Grand Order. Not only it had a definite winner, no one was bitten in the ass at the end.
The 5th was relatively normal (aside from Caster hijacking the role of Assassin's Master).
Aside from Heracles somehow being massively nerfed despite being summoned into a class that's supposed to buff you.
HGW5:
- One of the Servants was a leftover from the previous war
- One of the Servants was also a Master
- One of the Masters was also the Holy Grail
- One of the Masters was also the overseer
That doesn't sound remotely normal or fair to me. (And that's not even getting into HF shenanigans.)
I'm pretty sure it was said somewhere that the only Fuyuki HGW that could be described as "normal" was the Fourth one.
Just replace Gilgamesh with anyone else and it sure will be as normal a HGW as you can get
Until you get to heavens feel and everything goes to absolute shit. Not to mention Gil and Kirie tampering with shit in the last two routes and a servant taking a master spot
The idea of a "normal" HGW is flawed from the start. The ritual is designed to fuck over anyone who isn't part of the three families, no one's wish is actually supposed to be granted, it's all a big ruse.
