I thought Zelretch was going to be mentioned, since it seemed this Ayaka was a creation of Zel and his friend. What with the Extra chapter in vol 1 being named "Observer, or Character Creation". Caubac even picked up glasses for her personally.
I guess it's the fact he made her real by "confirming" her existence among infinite possibilities and the World just filled in the blanks/history.

It's more like they were picking from pre-existing options. What happened there is that Zelretch was browsing timelines and found FsF, but he saw that if left unattended, FsF is the "Jester wins" timeline, so he went "Spider, don't want that" and started choosing a mage to intervene.
But Caubac stops him and recommends a non-mage intruder, presumably because Zelretch's choice of mage would cause the "Francesca wins" timeline, which inconveniences him perfectly because Francesca's Grail wish is to steal Caubac's treasure.

Caubac selected fake Ayaka from Zelretch's book so it makes more sense to me that she was fully pre-existing. Her semi-copying Sajou Ayaka's looks could have been on Caubac though. Caubac is also more directly involved with creating the phone line between Dumas and Waver to prevent Ishtar as well. Zel is here basically just watching Caubac do his moves.

Getting wind of this is literally the entire reason I started reading fsf at all, and you know what? It actually was worth it. I hope Narita takes it even further than what I've theorised here.

lol Jester, he is a bigger deal than he seems. That makes sense. I guess this would be an example of the Record manipulation/revision of possibilities of the Second mentioned by Touko in Mahoyo.

For a brief moment, and basically since Rin's body had been used as her vessel in another timeline, it's sorta like she came to beat up her sister and found a barbed wire bat in just her size laying around.

That is quite a finish. Alcides continue to be broken. Somehow absorbing Gugulana's hurricane ability. I am curious about whether or not he still has Jack's NP? I guess I just assumed he would only be able to steal one NP at a time, because otherwise that ability is just completely broken. I imagine the crew will have to deal with him next. Hopefully that means it is time for Gilgamesh to return to the land of the living and Tine to take her place on stage again? Hopefully!! Because Gil seems the best equipped to fight him through a hurricane.

And then there is Not Ayaka... Thia really speaks the truth here. There is a lot about her that does not make sense and is suspicious. I am a little disappointed that Red Riding Hood does not seem equivalent to the Red Shadow from Witch on the Holy Night (I knew that was a long shot, but I was still hoping for it), but I am still holding out hope for a Manaka connection, because I really really really want to see more Manaka. But based on Reines bit at the end right there, it seems more likely that Not Ayaka is a human-like manifestation of the El-Melloi's mana reactor that they lost in the 4HGW.
