I mean, just from the Volume Description, it does sound like Narita is planning on putting an end to Alcides' arc. At this point, I just pray that the end is a satisfying one. Like, I'm alright with basically anyone joining in on the fight, as long as Hippolyta gets to actually deal the final blow to him. Because let's be real, with the exception of either Enkidu or Gil going all-out, no one is doing anything to Alcides on their own.

Man, when looking at Alcides here, why was the first thing that came to my mind:
"This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! Its burning grip tells me to defeat you! TAKE THIS! My anger, more of my anger, and even MORE of my anger! GOD BUSTER!!!"

I mean, Ayaka already regained her memories at the last Volume's epilogue, but Narita blueballed us by cutting the scene literally in the middle of her sentence.


Also, aside from those mentioned, we've still got tons of stuff left:

• Haruri, Huwawa and their confrontation with Clay Bae.
• The most Down Horrendous Dead Apostle in history and the Muslim Girl who just wants to kill them.
• Whatever horrible shit the Prelatis are cooking up.
• Gil waking up from his nap.
• Faildeus on his quest to see if he can get even a single W by himself.
• The Horseman of Death and his 8-year-old Master chilling in Limbo?
• And of course: Sigma becoming Ligma.

Hell, the only Characters that are like actually, 100% done are Ishtar and Spoopy Hassan. I honestly refuse to believe that Narita can wrap this up in 2 volumes, unless the characters just start dropping like flies.

This is doubly funny to me because i am getting into Gundam(finished 0079 and midway through Zeta), i guess he got upset because Hippolyta can keep up with him WITH THE HELP OF ARES!!!

Yeah there's still a lot of stuff going on and probably something more(like Dumas and that police guy) but probably some of those plotlines will be solved together like Gil+Enkidu/Humbaba and Sigma+Zealot

Thoughts on why AYAKA looks like Ayaka

vol 8 stuff

"Why Ayaka" is good question because you have to somehow connect Ayaka with the Semina Apartments, but there's nothing linking her to the Apartments in canon until after HGW 5. We know that the Mr. A stuff happens before because the story is told in Himuten as the prologue to the HGW 5 arc.
Then you have to go the other way around, what do the rouge magi who retrieved Kayneth's furnaces have to do with Ayaka?
The only answer I can think of is based on how Ayaka's dad bought the Tohsaka lands in the Himuten (and therefore Strange Fake) verse, and they own the leyline nexus which happens to be the second strongest leyline in Fuyuki.
These magi needed to do some kind of major ritual, maybe to kick start the furnaces since they were broken from the hotel collapse, and needed the use of a fallen leyline.
There's another tidbit about the Tohsaka land that's only touched on once, being the former home of vampires. The little girl is called "little red riding hood" and her final form is bloodstained.
So my theory is that the magi parents, inspired by Norikata or whatever was trying to use the stolen magical furnaces and the Tohsaka fallen leyline to transform their kid into a strong DA; however, Ayaka interrupted them and during the struggle, the furnaces took Ayaka's form. Blonde, I can only imagine is a El-Melloi thing.
Mr A. is probably dead, and AYAKA just thinks she's Mr. A, like Cloud with Zack in FF7.
And AYAKA sees the little red riding hood because, like the Fuyuki Grail, she's a pool of uncolored magical energy and maybe the girl turned DA's principle/soul dregs are tainting it.

FlatJack joins up with Sigma and Zealot to form a proper Shonen Trio. Orlando is their older mentor figure (Kakashi, Urahara), and Dumas is their mentor figure’s boyfriend (Might Guy, Grimmjow). Ricky and Ayaka will go full final boss, while Dumas and Orlando will fight the Prelatis, winning through the decisive method of punching those midgets (there will never be a proper casting duel between fate servants).

I just have no idea how he is going to possibly conclude everything.

The Wiki shows an unknown Noble Phantasm in Gilgamesh's profile. Does anyone have an idea what it is?

In my estimation, it would be Sha Naqba Imuru with a new ability or use for it, such as allowing Gilgamesh to know how to become a skilled expert in close-range combat.
