Was it ever confirmed Archer (or non-Berserker) Herc would even have God Hand? Also canonically the Einzberns were paranoid about betrayal after Kiritsugu and chose a Servant without independent thought. Although it's ironic because Herc would've protected Illya anyway of his own will.

I can see it being Avenger heracles or rider heracles.
Since rider class is supposed to have multiple noble phantasms. Avenger one is self explanatory.. although I think it will work like karna's armour.

God Hand was always a cool NP idea until one shotting multiple lives thing. 1/3 of NPs can take like 6+ of them in a single go now. If we ever actually get a sane heracles (we won't) there should be something unique about him because the power scaling keeps getting busted and busted. What's the point of being the Greatest Hero of Greece™ if a random fucking poet from 12th century japan can just take 8 of your lives with a single noble phantasm?
Heracles is like that guy who gets teased in the first arc as this uber powerful dude but we actually kinda get all his stats and abilities before we get him and by the time he's supposed to show up the meta is so fucking abused that not only is he considered not really overpowered but his supposed strongest ability gets done in by any servant with an A+ noble phantasm.

I think in practical scenario of holy grail war that's very overpowered since he can expose true names. And if your master is good enough ..even regenerate god hand lives.
He can also fight without a care and use nine lives which iirc amounts to same power as alcides used on Ishtar's temple.

Well there is also the whole “All attacks Rank B or lower deal 0 Damage” thing, so while you can take off multiple lives with a big attack inversely most attacks that aren’t big attacks don’t even do anything. Also there’s the more obscure factoid everyone forgets:

God Hand also possesses a third effect: rendering an attack that it has experienced before useless. Regardless how powerful is the Noble Phantasm that defeated Heracles, it would be completely nullified after he resurrects.

Also Illya could make him regen lives.

It is actually resistance rather than immunity. Nasu clarified it on an interview.
