Esau is rough, disrespectful, impulsive and just kind of a dick in general. That's a pretty good fit for True Archer.

True Archer is guy with black cloth over his head, not peach coloured girl. You have it wrong.
What exactly ever shut out True Archer from being Esau? I was never talking about True Rider.
How so? You were describing her just now (??:-\).
Anyway Esau has no connection with Gil, and is impulsive by nature. He is type to loose temper himself not to provoke others for lulz.
Plus only reason why would Esau wear cloth of kush on his head would be pretend to be Nimrod...
You are free think so of course. But until he does, it's baseless assumption. Well now I get you, I will back out to not waste too much space.

After more than a year on BL I still can't understand this natural impulse of trying to find the identity of a Type-Moon Servant following his story or his myth. as written in the real texts.
I suppose it's because it's fun.
You never know when those things come in handy...
Spoiler:
because you get to shout at everyone who doesn't agree with you then quote wikipedia on why she definitely is who you think she is.
then it turns out to be a genderbender and you rage over that.

Esau will never pretend to be Nimrod because it's the other way around.
Not quite. we have more clues now:
Red Paint of True Archers body could be Jacob impersonating Esau.
Nimrod wore a black garment while he also wore a crown (was the first king to wear one). Most likely, True Archer conceals the crown through the garment.
"prey" is usually a term for a hunter. Jacob's personality was not as fierce as True Rider so him being genderbent is least likely.
Esau was the one with the fierce grudge and his personality fits True Rider more than True Archer.
Nimrod had a huge hubris so he fits True Archer's personality because if the latter is Esau, he wouldnt have confronted Gil up front.
Nimrod may have a huge grudge on Esau as the latter ambushed him and Nimrod was jealous of Esau (they were the best hunters of their time).
Esau did "hunt" for Nimrod objectively after the mourning of Abraham's death and he was 15 then (True Rider was shown to be very young).
True Rider's physical strength may attribute to Esau being the Heracles of his time. Also, he was likened to be one of the Apocalypse riders.

Remember when apo vol 1 came out and people thought Chiron was Genghis Khan?
Good times.

Japan pretty much hit on Mephistopheles in the first couple of posts.
BL decided to go musical because of Jekyll the week before either way Mephistopheles was one of the big contenders.
