Something something Flat just escaped Pale Rider’s world and because he died so soon after his soul was captured and sent to purgatory or something.

4. I don't think it's the Root (probably); though, I have no idea what it could be. My best guess is either the Abyss or Void/Imaginary Numbers Space, for some reason.

5. It seems like it. The description sounds like it could be the entrance to Elysium, but I have no ideaa why Cerberus would be there.

Suddenly I'm reminded of one of Flat's babbles in one of the drama CD but it was probably the most "biblical" or w/e Flat's ever sounded (I really can't remember the exact quote but it was something like “someday I’ll do something about humankind’s sins")

Iirc, Narita said Flat would have been eliminated by the counter force if he hadnt met Lord El Melloi. It makes me wonder. In the worlds he doesn't meet El Melloi, does he erase thia and use the code in his magic crest or does Thia erase him and go haywire

My guess is Flat erases Thia (and heck even at Thia's "worst" the counterforce doesn't "know" what to do with Thia. I think it just goes to show how Flat would be without Waver's influence).

Flat bases his morals and ethics solely on what he thinks Waver thinks is right. Reminder that his opposition to using human sacrifice to power magic is "it's not very efficient" as opposed to something like how it's kind of an evil thing to do.

Since I’ve been in that school, my life has stopped being just my problem. Abandoning that girl now would mean betraying the professor and everyone at school. To me, that’s... as scary as losing my goal as a mage.

I do very much like Flat as being a character who can't fit into mage society from being too humane, and yet not fitting in with regular people either because his reasoning doesn't match up at all.

It's interesting to me that Thia said that Flat didn't find humans efficient...and yet, he still deems humans to be valuable (parts). In his own way, it feels like an expression of love.

Of course I do. I detest them in much the same way that many people feel anxious in the company of their own brethren.
