Turns out the crossbow was the catalyst the Kuruoka family was going to use to summon QSH. The red figure gives it to Sigma before disappearing because its out of time while saying it wishes it had time to show the crossbow to a wise magus.

I don't think it's a Servant. It's probably similar to what happened to Add in the Logos React in Case Files. Being in a netherworld with a Master's Noble Phantasm ended up doing something to recall a former owner or something. Also there's a lot of Blackmore Cemetery crossover in this volume with Flat magicking his cell phone with Gil's decorations to be able to call Waver for help about dream land.

Since Gray is tied to Seiba maybe it would be useful for Casefiles stuff.

I don't think the Dismantling War is gonna be a Case Files episode. It seems more likely it'll be its own thing, once the F/GO money has run dry and TM need a big, fan-pleasing story (probably written by Nasu himself) to revitalize the franchise. They've been low-key laying the groundwork for it for years, with stuff like the UBW epilogue episode and Waver's Saberface sidekick.
