But hey, they just added a genuine canon superhero character to the recurring cast as an official team member. Okay, it was only Mockingbird, but still! (I like how they even do the shoutout to how the character is supposed to be blonde.)

I thought the Coulson "no" was well done. Kinda developed him from lovable "Agent" to "cold calculated post-Fury" Director. Also, i really like Nick Blood. His character really fits well.

Did not know that; excellent! (One of the things I kind of dislike about the show is that its a TV spinoff of a superhero cinematic universe...starring a bunch of OCs. And S.H.I.E.L.D. itself was so changed by Winter Soldier that it doesn't really qualify as a "character" any more, either.)

I've been craving a superhero/Marvel fix for some time. Going to start watching this week now that I noticed it on Netflix.
