nah whoever's hosting just needs to have their ports open. if both sides can't open their ports then hamachi usually works as a substitute.

if you dont know how to open ports i recommend this: http://sourceforge.net/projects/upnp-portmapper/

hit connect then create and just configure it to open both tcp and udp on port 46318 (default) and on port 7500 (the one used by most older fans)

I'm not trying to encourage piracy at all with this post, I just have a computer that does not have a physical DVD drive and I don't want to spend any more money than I've already spent on my copy of first pressings of Carnival Phantasm to play MBAACC... Every time I try to rip an image, even with DVDDecrypt or AnyDVD, it gives me an Error 17 at 99%.

Has anyone been able to successfully rip the game? I want to be able to attempt to run it on my netbook, even though the specs are likely not good enough. It can't run too badly, can it?

Just in case anyone doesn't believe that I have a physical copy, here's a photograph. I believe I also posted it in the Recent Loot thread a while back. Excuse the quality. I don't have a normal camera and my cellphone is acting up so I used my PS Vita.

I hope this is a good thread to post this in - the other Melty Blood thread was not specific to MBAACC. Also, oops, apparently I miswrote the time, it's 12:26... my PS Vita's clock is apparently not set to EST vs. EDT.

I've had the same problem and was not able to resolve the issue myself. Maybe gesalt, who bought Vol.3 from me, can clear you up on this. Sorry.

I ended up deciding to try to archive the folder, it gave me an access denied error. So in response, I attempted to create a disc image out of the folder and that ended up working. So I'm just going to see if even without the registry keys it will work on the other computer.

So if you are having this issue, you can attempt that, I'm unsure if it works yet.

I hope that I don't get reprimanded for this post. As I noted, I am not encouraging piracy, just the ability to install on an optical drive free PC without buying an external drive.

I only have Act Cadenza on my computer, and I barely ever played it lol. I think I have Actress Again for my PS2 lying around somewhere, but I don't think I ever even played it. The game(s) were just never prioritized I guess, so I never really got into them.

I've been playing a ton of Melty lately. F-Warc is so satisfying to play even though she has no reversal, she has no string.

Imagine if it got localized. At this point of the english translation being almost done through blood and sweat. That would be funny, right, I am sure nothing would be wrong with the translation itself either. Gradation Air when?

Yeah, given mm's operating policy they're likely to stop work and pull what's already out there. If you want their script even just for comparison, I advise you to grab that patch soon (as I have).

No I mean, real talk, isn't Melty Blood translation like rocket science, incredibly infested with furigana and hipster kanji and one-off-use-terms-which-may-or-may-not-wind-up-relevant-in-latter-titles even by TM standard, which is why these very few lines took so damn long?
