The Kagerou Project (Heat-Haze Project) is a series of songs by "Shizen no Teki-P", who is also known as "Jin". The series has two novels and a manga adaption that connect all the songs together, and there has been an Anime adaptation announced.

I haven't read any of the Novels, because none seem to be translated, and I've only read what little of the Manga has been scanlated, but what you want to know can be gathered by watching the PVs and reading the lyrics. The wiki doesn't hurt, either. I went ahead and posted all of the PVs released thus far, will update when more come out. The first two are unofficial, as their were no official PVs, just songs.

I don't know how the Anime will turn out, I don't know how the novels are and what little I've read of the Manga is not enough for me to form an opinion, but what I do know is that I absolutely love the videos, the songs, the characters, and the plot. Here's hoping some of you do as well, and those unfamiliar will be able to get acquainted with it.

These are Vocaloid songs, so if you find vocal synthesizers to be grating to your ears, here, this is a girl, "JubyPhonic-P", who does English covers for the songs, and I think she's done one for each, if not most of the Kagerou Project songs. Perhaps her voice will be more to your liking. She also does covers for other songs, and she is, in my opinion, quite good.

Well, the point of this was to introduce it, as no thread seems to already exist on it, and set a foundation for when the Anime is released. Oh, and the title for the Anime will, apparently, be "Kagerou Days", named after the third PV.

Discussion of the videos or the project itself is welcome. If someone unfamiliar with the project grows to admire it after this, then my job is done ^^

Character Teasers

"Kisaragi Shintaro"


A hikkikomori and a young man with an IQ of 168. Since everything in the world seemed to have obvious answers, he had an apathetic personality. After a classmate's death, he began to regret losing them, and became a hikkikomori. After two years had passed, he became hopelessly addicted to the Internet and even states that he would die without it. Seventh member of the Mekakushi Dan.



"Ene"


A cyber girl who invaded Shintaro’s computer. Through internet, she can invade lots of electronic stuff.



"Kido Tsubomi"


Leader of Mekakushi Dan. By using her "Blindfold" power, she can remove her and her surroundings' presence.



"Kano Shuuya"


A funny guy who always smile. Has a “Deceiving” power that can change people’s view and impressions of him.



"Seto Kousuke"


A kind-hearted person who friends easily. Often wanders off to explore new places. Has an "Analysis" power that allows him to read information about people without using words.



"Kisaragi Momo"


A female high school idol. Mekakushi Dan helped her to solve her frustration about her "Captivation" power, and thanks to their help, Momo is once again happy. Shintaro's sister.



Kozakura Mary


Has a quarter of Medusa’s blood. Using “Eye Contact” power, she can freeze one’s movement for a few minutes.



Amamiya Hibiya


Very mature for his age, although he has a cheeky personality. His "Eye Focusing" power allows him to perceive objects and details that are far away from an aerial view.



Konoha


A boy who lost his memory. Stays at Hibiya's friend's sister’s house, has an immortal body.


Mekakushi Dan?


Means "Blindfolded Group".
"Our activity now is to avoid the police’s eyes and infiltrate dangerous facilities to borrow things.", according to Kano.

- Jin himself is working on anime BGM. (Excellent)

- Shidu (who made the official PVs) is in charge for anime OP's initial draft.

Confirmed seiyuu:

- Mamoru Miyano as Konoha (Oh hell yes)
- Kana Asumi as Ene
- Hanazawa Kana as Mary

-The adaption will be 1-cour

- The rest of the voice actors will be announced every Saturday via anime CMs, starting on the 25th of Janurary. It will be shown on TOKYO MX, BS 11, as well as on NND, which is the same channels where the anime will be aired.

- They’ll be making a channel on nico for the anime, which is where they’ll air the CMs.
