I also liked Sekien no Inganock's, and most of Key works'.

Simoun and Melody of Oblivion are two anime that also had quite nice soundtracks.

I have quite a few favorites, but one that I think bears mentioning is Katawa Shoujo. It's very solid and pleasing to listen too (or at least what has been released so far), which is all the more impressive when you consider that it's freeware.

Also, (I'll blame Kratosirving for this) I've really become fond of the Fortissimo EXA//Akkord: Bsusvier soundtrack. Good songs are good.
