What to say ... Ado Edem kicks ass. I literally had no idea who he was until you introduced me to him.
But I'm still leery of Louise summoning such a powerful familiar. Yeah, you can call on bigger and badder things to fight him, but the conflicts of ZnT can become meaningless that way. That said, I really, really like them. Ado Edem is just way too cool.

Well, it's basically Tsubame Gaeshi and the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi's special ability combined.
The Totsuka-no-Tsurugi is a legendary blade, the one used to slay the Yamato-no-Orochi.
Now, I could have just ripped off Nine Lives. But I didn't want to do that.
So, instead, I tried to come up with ways you could kill an eight headed beast with a single attack. And it came to me. Make it so that a single attack by the blade will reach out and strike all eight heads, at the same time!

According to what I read, the Kusanagi is the blade that was found inside the Yamato-no-Orochi after it was slain with the Totsuka-no-Tsurugi.

Totsuka-no-Tsurugi.
Kusanagi was originally called Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi("Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven") but its name was later changed to the more popular Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi ("Grass Cutting Sword").
