Hmm. Will think about it. I just wanted to do a best OP and then maybe a best theme (to include the Melty Blood themes, perhaps the KnK movie themes along with Shiki's battle themes, Emiya, etc,). Really i only wanted to do a pull not flood the board. And the best theme one means I will need way more fucking research and would lead to hundreds more bitching about whether XXXX is someones theme or not lol.

tbh, I actually wanted to make this thread on the old Poll Board before it got deleted which kinda sent my laziness levels to maximum. Which sent a thread I woulda made in a few days-weeks to like half a year.

Totes sizeable options if I remember correctly.

I was just going to ask what you meant by that. The only OP for this that I can think of is Track 01.


Anyway, to the point. HA's #2 opening is really great both visually and musically, with all the Meltan OPs a step down in comparison, but still very nice. In contrast, Mahoyo's OP is less dynamic, but its colours, music and still shots convey a distinct atmosphere (I'd say "melancholy" or "restrained", but I haven't even read it so what do I know). In the end I'm still going with Kara no Kyoukai's opening pieces, both because they set the tone superbly for the rest of the movie(s) and because I can't describe them (and KnK's entire soundtrack in general) with a term less sappy than "hauntingly beautiful".

I think? Its one of the first three songs, is all I know. 0/ is meant to be played during the prologue when you read it (hence the gunshot at the end). IMAGE is meant to be played, ofc during the meeting with Godo (which is the scene right after).
