Seeing Raikou in anything outside of FGO is pleasant to see
Seeing Raikou in anything outside of FGO is pleasant to see
Current FGO setup
Been a while since I read this so Tamamo's constant referencing to old scenes really went over my head, but this flashback has been pretty good since they got into the Mooncell, though I still find it hard to buy into the relationship between Kazu and Suzuka, it evolved extremely quickly. It feels like FGO's bond lines.
A better showing than either Onigashima or Shimousa and one of the better fights in the manga too.
He's just a poor human boy trying to save his sister and he wasn't psychologically ready for a HGW, he literally rushed in it out of disperation. He has found himself in a "Betray or lose" situation and his sister was more important than his servant's trust at that moment. They will understand each other in the next chapters because they grow as characters and that's (imho) way better than being "perfect characters" which don't make mistakes. That chapter and that mistake are absolutely important for Kazuhito and (especially) Suzuka which will blame Tamamo for the same mistake that she has done: not telling his master anything about her abilities.

Oh I understand that perfectly. I still think this kind of end point was 100% expected. Kazuhito was never really equipped for a grail war.
But then again who truly is
I completely missed that similarity between Tamamo and Suzuka. I wonder why Suzuka didn't tell Kazu about it though? We know Tama is afraid of loosing her masters acceptances.
The problem I think is time VS screen time Kazu and Suzuka were in their second battle so we know they have been together for at least 2 weeks but we're only see/shown a few bond moments. The bond between Hakuno and Tamamo has been steadily growing (despite Tama trying to speed it along) and the more screen time makes it fit, however (I may be miss counting) Tama has been hit on the head 5 times by Hakuno for her morning wake ups. So it seems the Tamamo and Hakuno for this story have been together for just 5 day. I know the farside has a strange grasp of time and Hakuno spent a long time in bug space but in the long run I think he's spent around 5 days with Tamamo on the farside. (The 5 weeks on the near side may have been forgotten but I be-leave in Hakuno heart he remembers his time with Caster so that helps their trust) Sorry for the rant but my point is Kazu and Suzuka may have had more moments unseen and in order to make their bond to seem to evolve gradually we'd need to stay in the flash back arc longer but instead the story choose to show a few strong moments with them bonding though it came off as quick.

Takenoko just recently tweet about how Nasu has been supervising Foxtail, and made even small corrections to Tamamo's dialogue to Hakuno. Pretty interesting to know that Nasu doesn't let any official work unchecked.
Glad Nasu is still involved in Foxtail. I was fearing with all the new FGO and Prisma Illya Mangas/Animes that Foxtail maybe over looked by Nusu. Happy my fears were misplaced. Maybe this means one day an Anime could be made for Foxtail. I wonder what "small corrections to Tamamo's dialogue to Hakuno" were made.

Pretty much the only one that was confirmed Nasu hardly invloved is Emiya Gohan. But it's so true to the characters so Nasu must have think it won't be neccessary.
One dialogue given as example was the "what did you do to my possession?" (when Tamamo got mad at Suzuka using charm iirc). Nasu changed it to "what did you do to my?" to match her personality more (and to hint at another thing imo). She is very aggressive about anything involving her lover, wanting to "own" her lover (basically putting the lover under her control, like a femme fatale) but still respects them as her lord. It's subtle implication with the way that dialogue is written in Japanese.possessionHusband
As for the hint, I think it's a hint to Vitch - because the sin that Beast Vitch represents is "loving what you own" like affection for pets. Vitch is basically a Tamamo who will "own" her Master without considering herself to be the Master's subordinate, she would only seek to dominate.
Chapter 56.5 is done. https://imgur.com/a/XFTf0NY
Can't do anything about Tamamo's boobs though. You'll have to use your imagination.
I don't know why I just can't get into Kazu and Suzuka's relationship and even just his character.
That said, it's pretty pitiful after his two seconds of being relieved from his self flagellation he goes back to internalising his problems and self loathing
I'm not that invested in the two of them either but I'm pretty happy that this situation led up to them struggling together instead of extending the drama so it causes their loss in the next battle.
The censorship doesn't both me at all the work on the typesetting was well done and I'm grateful to you for your work on this chapter TheSkipRow. The scene with Kazu and Suzuka in class had more impact to me then before and even though I know what coming I'm excited to read the next chapter. I wonder though Leila said she didn't want to force a friend to do something they hated "ever again" what was the first time she did it was it to Raikou earlier in the tournament or was it before the grail war? Just noticed you put Foxtails on **************dex.org/title/10808/fat...c-fox-tail.com Thank-you for the extra leg work this will make keeping track of the story so much easier.
That would be neat if is was a hint for Vitch ( also I prefer your interpretation of her love I thought till now her love has being a sadist (I think this is spelled right) to humans and watching them struggle to over come it) if this does turn out to be right maybe their has been hint about the other Tama Nine and maybe we'll really see the nine at the end. This also shows one of my favorite parts about Tamamo there are many lairs to her personality.
I agree mami-kouga and pinetree that it's not easy to feel invested in them. I at least like to think I understand where both are coming from and I enjoy their interaction because of it. Though since Suzuka last act in main timeline was charming Hakuno to harm Caster emotional and then stab her I'm not going to be cheering for them.

Why is there mosaic censorship now, when it wasn't there in previous chapters? In those previous chapters, there weren't even any nipples shown. What, did you get the Chinese version or something?
Chapter 57 is done.
