I found it both cool and hilarious.

Besides, it doesn't work with any old mirror. Normally the mirror would break, but a Noble Phantasm and an imperial treasure at that is far sturdier than your average mirror.

I won't say that Tamamo did nothing wrong, but she certainly did nothing wrong when killing those 80000 soldiers. If anything, those soldiers were pathetic in that they needed 80000 just to skin a little fox, and they still failed.

Tbh I am kinda curious as to what she was like as a courtesian/concubine.

It's literally a definition of the term "concubine". Also it was a joke, I know that she was actually a weathy, gorgeous, intelligent and high class lady who had exceptional womanly virtues and talents.

Otherwise she'd not have won the Emperor's favour in the first place.
