    Here's where we discuss all things Avatar!

    Except the movie. Because it sucked.

    That being said, I would like to get one thing off my chest before any real discussion takes place in here.

    Avatar is not an anime. Just because there are strong Asian influences present within it does not mean it's an anime. Just because it's good doesn't mean it's an anime, those two things have nothing to do with each other. It is a genuinely good Western cartoon, and that is all there is to it. Are we clear?

    Great!

    Now, I'd like to start off by saying that I am ridiculously fond of the Ty Zulaang pairing, which is Aang x Azula x Ty Lee.

    Man, I really need to see the old episodes that I missed.

    I loved this show! I just couldn't get the chance to always watch it whenever I could.

    I genuinely liked the Lion Turtle, even if it didn't appear for long. He actually helped, and didn't try to coerce him like HIS OWN (past) SELVES DID. Seriously, you know your screwed up if all of your other reincarnations were all "KILL HIM, HE'S GOING TO DESTROY THE WORLD". Then again, he was going to destroy the world, but the point is they could have at least tried to find some other option considering Aang's mindset.

    And yeah, Appa FTW. Roku's episode was sad. Iroh is BEAST-mode.

    @ Type: Same here. I get tired of people calling ASSPULL on the Lion Turtle just because it gave Aang a way to beat Ozai without killing him. It was some cool ass shit damnit! And it allowed for an awesome energy bending scene!

    You have to admit, it was funny. Anyway, not a huge fan, but if it's on I'll definitely watch. Animation is OK, but the fight scenes are really great.
