It does have a surprisingly healthy ammount of philosofy, so your point stands.

Man, Avatar's for kids, what are you guys on about with this stuff?

Good sir, I still watch new episodes of Digimon. I clearly give no fucks about if something is for kids. The show is actually surprisingly well done, and the action scenes in particular(for the first series at least) were some of the best I've seen this side of Kung Fu movies.
Honestly, I'd say you should give the show a shot. Watch a few episodes and I think you'll be surprised. It's not OMG SO MATURE but it's a very well made show with a little adult humor thrown in here and there and for the most part it plays out like any other Shounen.
Digimon? Nothing will be better than Tamers man.

No, I'm saying try Avatar. Start with the first series because jumping right into Korra is a recipe for confusion.
...why...why would I post in a thread about a topic I have no idea about? I may be slowly growing addicted to 4chan, but I'm not THAT ignorant yet.

Don't forget...Avatar Fanboy - he made the series for me.

Oh wait, I just completely misread that. Sorry man, just having weird comprehension problems lately.
So what you're saying is, when Aang 'died' the first time, he split off a piece of the Avatar pie, and then whoever it reincarnated into also died, and that's why we have Amon?
That's pretty the theory, yeah.
Meanwhile, someone has made a plausible theory on Amon's debending ability.
Artist's block. Bigger bitch than karma, I swear.
That theory makes a ludicrous ammount of sense. It's mind-boggling.
The more you know!
That's really good...so it's kind of like manipulating pressure points? Since doing so interferes with the normal chakra flow, right? Like the *forgets what they're called* Like what Ty-Lee does to temporarily stop a person's bending...
This was something I had been thinking about.

...huh. Apparently SB moves faster, this theory was postulated like last week.
It makes more sense to me he's an Epic-level Chi Blocker, anyways.
Hm, I can buy it.
It also implies the loss of bending can be undone, if the bender's mind is cleared of the illusion. Which makes me think that's why Aang was so determined to show Korra that flashback; he wanted her to see his energybending form, and realize the difference between what he does and what Amon has done so far.
... Sadly, she hasn't seemed to have figured that out yet, but we still have the finale.
HE IS HIS BROTHER!?
