You never read/watched Rorouni Kenshin, Peace Maker Kurogane or Gintama? Man, I'm sorry.
Something about an example. Can't read the second line, need more high res pictures.
Isn't Gintama that thing with hundreds of episodes now? That sounds like a lot of work and not worth it.

You could just read the manga if you feel you lack the time to carch on the anime. Or skip the oneshot comedy episodes (though some of them are absolutely hilarious) for now and concentrate on the story arcs.
Or start in the middle of it or whatever. In any case Gintama is among the best things anime has to offer.

On a side note Baha, how'd you like the second Gintama movie? I almost died laughing when they started by parodieng the "no pirating movies" ad and Gintoki ended up helping pirating his own movie!
The beginning was the best anti-piracy warnig ever made. The execution scene later was also overly hilarious. I died multiple times during the movie and therefore rated it 10/10
Or even heard of the otome game "Hakuouki ~Shinsengumi Kitan~", or the Situation CD series "Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku/Kekkonroku Wasurenagusa"

you should watch it its really good. mostly comedy (i like how therer is alot of 4th wall breaking & how the characters are aware of lots of cliches) but there are series mometns too & action scenes are great.
