Also I have to comment on how much better Ilya, Rin and Sakura sound in this anime compared to Realta Nua. It's wonderful what having actually good voice acting direction can do.
Yeah, that's true. I think it was the overall slick modern look of the whole facility and magi being OK with it that bothered me, but if you have money and no silly reservations you can be on the cutting edge.

I believe the VN says the Olympians scrambled her brain to make her love Jason and do all of those shifty things to help him win the Fleece, but everything that came afterward was 100% Medea. (Take with salt; haven't read it in a while)
I take it all as a sign that she doesn't want to be the Witch of Betrayal anymore, but she was backed into a corner and reverted to her horribly vindictive ways.
Although a lot of the beef with her Master was about how inefficient his methods were and not purely a matter of trying to save the poor little orphans.
Well, there's also the distinction to be made between having a specific murder done to someone because you hate them specifically and being so morally blinded that you don't even see anything wrong with using children as resources anymore.
Like even if you did the former, it would be possible to think that murder is wrong and what you did is wrong, just that you hit your breaking point. The latter would be more of a Relius Clover type who just looks at people like objects.

@ You: Yeah, that's what I was talking about. She fell for Jason, betrayed her father and killed her brother under Olympian control. The way the passage is phrased made me think she came out of the god-funk just in time to get ditched by Jason, at which point all of her evildoings were her own.
