Really, just a few lines of mention at all about Shirou's magic would have done wonders. The anime just made viewers think he was only capable of strengthening stuff.

That's mainly the problem of lack of Fate route. At least they had Rin foreshadowing it a bit, so maybe they will go back on it once the RM shows.

Uh what? If it takes that long for people to realize Shirou is deep then I'm honestly confused on how their brain even functions.

I disliked Shirou when I watched the F/SN animu many years back....

Reading the VN changed everything.

You can dislike deep characters too, abd even if someone is deep it doesn't mean you understand the motives why that person is the way he/she is. The thing is that Answer just waves it in your face.

Well okay the first point is a good one but there are like a 100 scenes before Answer that wave Shirou's motives in your face. Off the top of my head that one scene with Saber in the shed in Fate, the Orphans scene, the scene right after Illya's death and I'm sure I'm missing a few.

Answer is pretty much the strongest out of all the scenes that explain Shirou's character and his ideals. It just works much better. That's pretty much it.

Yes I realize that Answer is the strongest of those scenes but I swear to God they bloody spell it out in some of the earlier scenes its not as if Answer has it come out of nowhere.
