I think the Saber route skip only happened because we had something with significative Saber focus before, which is Zero. Tsukihime had nothing of the sort.
Not a remake of the anime, but an anime of the remake.
I think it's possible, patterns and stuff do leave me dreaming high, but first let's enjoy the remake and see what its success entails.

If the remake ever gets an anime it'll definitely be Arcueid.

That could work, what with that Last Episode-esque ending and all. But the addition of new DA(?) in the remake might change some plot points.
They originally wanted a anime original plot for FSN, and when it came time for Extra it was also anime original plot.
What if the Remake is just the 5 heroines, and when we do get a anime, its Satsuki route, fufilling that Plus Disc promise of putting out Satsuki route one way or another.
My fucking bones are going to be dust by then.
