It hasn't been announced as such, but considering ufotable has never worked back-to-back cours in their entire history (except for web shorts, I think?) it's a pretty safe guess.

Archer vs Berserker or the Shadow consuming its first servant, cut it on a high point. I mean, Zero got cut off at the beginning of a damn huge battle.
The Shadow consumes its first servant quite early tho.
I was thinking if they want to go a Heavens Feel-themed route they can have Rin and Sakura moments instead of Shirou and Sakura, where Zouken as I imagine would take notice of Sakura's feelings regarding Rin much later than the almost immediate relationship with Shirou, so they would have enough time to have Grail war business in the first half and have HF-like events in the second half.
Best first episode of the season, by far. Really looking forward to the show.

Aldnoah.Zero 1: I freaking loved this episode, the tracks I've heard already sound way better than Sawano's work for Kill la Kill. The lighting in scenes really made shit look pretty and I love the probably mentally challenged MC. That insert song at the end made me crack a smile, this is full Butcher to the core and I love it. Also has a great Kalafina OP song.
My favorite of the new summer shows so far.
