Reading the All You Need Is Kill manga so I have reference for the movie later this week, and the translations drop off with only four chapters to go. I guess since it has a limited run there's no push to finish it every week like most of the more popular manga, but still, the movie is right about to come out. You'd figure they'd try to get it out if only so they can get all the people who are looking for the source.

How can I act like a know-it-all 'Oh the book was much better' type if its unfinished?

Is there any difference between the web and print versions? Because I can't find any scans, but the web version is, like, right there at the top of Google.

I haven't read the novel yet, but the print version's supposed to have fixes and edits to the web novel according to wikipedia.

Bah, I just realized the earlier chapters have been replaced with digest versions as the books came out anyway.

Watched NGE, EoE and the three Rebuild movies in one go. Never would've guessed that some J-pop song I randomly remember hearing on an airplane years ago would turn out to be the theme song for an Evangelion movie.

At least I made it in time to join the countdown to the shitstorm that's sure to come, one way or another. Hopefully in less than two years.

So turns out bath scene in episode 24 was actually inspired by real life; apparently there was this one time Anno and Ikuhara (best known for directing Utena) discussed their junior high years while soaking in the hot springs.
