Lasboss x Hero, this is just so good. Dem cliches and the way they're used is just too funny.

The moment someone bid on Kanzaki, I knew it was Yokoya.
Currently getting into Space Brothers. Man, Nasa applicants have it hard. The manga makes me remember when I wanted to go into space as a kid...

Reading the All You Need Is Kill manga so I have reference for the movie later this week, and the translations drop off with only four chapters to go. I guess since it has a limited run there's no push to finish it every week like most of the more popular manga, but still, the movie is right about to come out. You'd figure they'd try to get it out if only so they can get all the people who are looking for the source.
How can I act like a know-it-all 'Oh the book was much better' type if its unfinished?

Throw away your sense of dignity and hipster it up.
So I start reading this manga called Darwin's Game (http://www.batoto.net/comic/_/comics/darwins-game-r8466) and the main character gets the power to recreate things out of thin air from memory.
Then the next thing I know, this guy shows up:

You guys should totally read this.
Whats it about?
I haven't read the novel yet, but the print version's supposed to have fixes and edits to the web novel according to wikipedia.
Watched NGE, EoE and the three Rebuild movies in one go. Never would've guessed that some J-pop song I randomly remember hearing on an airplane years ago would turn out to be the theme song for an Evangelion movie.
At least I made it in time to join the countdown to the shitstorm that's sure to come, one way or another. Hopefully in less than two years.

Skimming through some of the interviews. Interesting stuff.
So turns out bath scene in episode 24 was actually inspired by real life; apparently there was this one time Anno and Ikuhara (best known for directing Utena) discussed their junior high years while soaking in the hot springs.
There was no confession of love, though. Nor, presumably, hand-holding.
The more you know!
