I'm just glad I don't understand that spoiler.

Spoiler:
Batoto is a website not a character lmao
It was the main scan place before mangadex
I have to admit Tem's comment was a great laugh.
The spirit of Grand Blue flows through me.
Plus, if batoto's over 5 years old there's no way I'd know it, I only started reading english scans with Mangadex around 2~3 years ago. Before that, I just read manga on physical media or brazilian scan sites.

Spoiler:
Caught up with Grand Blue.
Why is the world so unfair?
Why must manga be so quick to be caught up on?
Why must these same manga be so good?

Spoiler:
Because if it's shit, you don't try and go through 200 chapters in a day.

Just blasted through Ajin in like 4~5 hours.
Amazing.
Everything it attempted, it did it amazingly. Act 1, 2 and 3, power systems, every ability and every possibility, character arcs, character designs, characters themselves, battles, plans, themes, sociopolitical commentary, everything about this is stellar.
I'm not afraid to say it belongs as one of the masterpieces of its time.
If you want an effectively 100 chapter long manga to blast through in a sitting, you'll be hardpressed to have a better choice than this one.

Spoiler:
I remember Ajin. IIRC I dropped it after the original writer left since it didn't feel as good afterwards.

I didn't even know it switched writers. There was a difference in tone, but I chopped it up to story progression. Didn't skip one beat all things considered.

Spoiler:
I remember the anime. Specifically going, "this is really cool" and then not seeing an update for a few months after the first few episodes so I forgot about it. I think it was one of those things where the studio released the first few at an event to hype up the proper release.

Oh, the anime. I tried watching the anime because I heard it was good. The 3D turned me off immensely. Not only that, the starting scenes were probably related to the origin of the Ajins, but it was not in the manga and I think it was a shitty hook all things considered.

Spoiler:
Really? The 3D is part of what interested me so much in what was basically edgelord Jojo. It was odd to see at the start, but it was really well done and immersive. Especially with how it was a year before Land of the Lusterous. It's actually what convinced me to give that show a shot.

Eh, I've found that I don't care about anime anymore. Unless it's an anime original. So it's more that I don't care about adaptations anymore. Still, this new 3d style anime have been trying to do, what with Berserk and that one netflix one that was either Baki or Kengan Ashura - I mix up them both - it just turns me off a lot. I don't meld with it.

Spoiler:
If you don't watch anime, say so, and don't go with stupid generalizations. Saying all 3DCG is the same is like saying Jojo looks the same as K-on because they're both 2D. Like with 2D, 3D has it's differences in quality. Berserk's the worst. I'd say Kengan's better. And then in the top tier, you have stuff like Arpeggio, Bubuki Buranki, Houseki no Kuni or Night Head 2041. Even before going to make their own anime, the top tier CG studios I mentioned did collab with 2D studios like MJP, Code Geass Akito, Etotama or Black Rock Shooter TV and did great work. I can understand not liking CG. But I hate people talking like there's a single style and lumping everything in the same category- If you watch the shows I mentioned, you can notice they've different styles, and even different approaches to the CG.
There's no single "new 3D style"
Also, anime have been trying to use CG since a long time. It's not even new. There was that Golgo OVA for the first time and stuff like Webdiver or Super Robot Wars OG Divine Wars or Gigantic Formula. Not like the older CG stuff looks great or I'd reccomend it, but it's there

Nah Berserk isn't the worst anymore. It's got to be Ex-Arm. At least Berserk tried to do lip flaps.

It's definitely not new. Even if you mean full 3D, Amuri in Star Ocean is a full 3D OVA released in 2008, which is 13 years ago. You're free to dislike it. But making generalizations based on said dislike is like someone saying all 2D anime is moeblobs. Sorry if you don't like reading, but I dislike the spread of misinformation. Personal dislike of something is not grounds to spout bullshit. Go to 4chan if you want to shitpost against CG so bad with lies

There are some good looking 3D anime. Ajin is not one of them.
Though to be honest no 3D anime will ever look good again in comparison to Arcane
