Mine was also taken, and I'm not gonna pleb it up by adding random numbers in my account name. No GoG for me.

I finished the monogatari series recently. I started with kizu since that's the one my friend recommended me to start with, then proceeded with the novel order since I hear the shaft order was a mistake.
I found it to be a pretty cool and a subversive story that's quite rare in the mainstream of the medium. tho the tone shift between kizu and bake was quite sad to me since it seemed as if the series got downgraded a bit, tho it wouldn't be fair to compare a film series to a TV series so I watched it with minimal expectations and enjoyed it nonetheless. I noticed the series became less action orientated and more talk/dialogue heavy afterwards with some actions here and then. and of course, the fanservice. how could anyone watch mono and not mention the deep fanservice! no joke, i found the fanservice to be quite profound for the first time in my watching anime career. and the conclusion was mildly satisfying in zoku to me. tho i would prefer if they would continue the series into the next parts rather than end it with the first one.
Spoiler:
Ugh. Been out of it for too long. need to rewatch and complete monogatari.
Back to a certain manga - senpai ending is a straight timeskip!?
BEHOLD! THE SIG OF GOLDEN TRUTH! Pillaged from McJon, Tsukikan et al.
Yugioh Vrains Episodes 70-74: Playmaker duels Bohman for the 3rd time and pulls out Cyberse Quantum Dragon from the Data Storm to win. And then you have Gore/Go who implanted a AI chip in his brain to become a better duelist actually defeat the Earth Ignis and capture it. These episodes have been pretty so far.
Spoiler:
SHAFT order was pretty much novel order until second season (besides Kizu never), and I think they only swapped positions for two novels on that one?
IDK, I kinda gave up on following Monogatari timeline after ThistimeitsoverforrealGatari got a sequel.

And FWIW your friend was a ponce, Kizu comes after Bake in release order.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Kizu was basically done as a prequel because of all the vague "Spring Break" stuff Araragi throws out during Baka so it works as an alternate starting point. You don't want your MC's main motivating event to happen offscreen, but OTOH Baka (or even just Hitagi Crab) is the formula to how most of the stories from then on will play out, so it makes sense to lead with the thing more in line with the tone of the rest, then seeing the shounen battle turn into a talking heads show.
Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask

Finally got around to watching Machikado Mazoku.
Not going to spoil anything, but Chainsawman is now at a very good point to jump in and binge the thing / put yourself up to date.
don't quote me on this
Hmm, I guess I could. I just recently finished reading the first volume of Bestia. It's very cool, I had no idea about that black dog legend from England.
Spoiler:
I appreciate the 3 Kingdoms reference in episode 2 of Machikado Mazoku
if the idol girl is, uh, the pigtails tsundere with the long nails, she castrated him and then he died fighting the big bad of the arc -- its after that arc that jagaaan becomes a detective with the metal cop guy as his boss, which eventually leads to them investigating deader dead land and the current arc
i felt after the detective arc started / its longer arc with the two crazed killers ended the story lost its direction and it's now just rushing along towards an ending

you didn't miss much. it's like tokyo ghoul in that the beginning execution was the only exceptional thing about it

Done with Zegapain. Loved the show. Real interesting stuff with great characters. Also, the childhood friend wins, so it's inherently top tier

That feel when you've got a whole weeks worth of seasonal anime waiting to be watched, but you say to yourself "Fuck it, I'm gonna rewatch Canaan".
Now I really want someone to edit together King Hassan singing idol songs as he does his NP.
