I mean, Makima was certainly hyped up but dude simultaneously just foddered the previous Big Bad and created a new and stronger out of a supposed love interest all in the course of two chapters.
I guess looking back there were always hints that Makima was a much bigger player than she was introduced as, but what the fuck, that went 0-100 in no time flat.

Well she was always pretty creepy IMO, but the fact that the whole world seemed to want her dead (even that sympathetic older guy working under her!) was a pretty clear signal/foreshadowing.
And the Gun Devil wasn't foddered, if anything he's been hyped more - it's just it may not be the main antagonist.

Picked up an interesting manga called "We will now begin Ethics class". It's...interesting. I don't have the background to appreciate how accurate it is to the sources it namedrops, but it covers a pretty broad band of philosophers and thinkers in the context of highschool drama.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Ended up reading Okami Wa Nemuranai / The Wolf won't Sleep manga.
Nothing super unique or special but I liked the distinct artsyle & found it interesting enough that I ended up looking for more. Read through the translated Web novel chapters & even decided to go to the source & read ahead.
Finally caught up to the latest chapter...arcs & updates are quite consistent so I guess I'll be following something new again.
Currently watching Armitage III. LOL stupid protesters complaining that robots are taking their jobs. Git gud, noobs. So that your jobs won't be taken by those better. Robot, human, white, black, Irrelevant.

So, Haikyuu over. I wanna say this was a good satisfying end, but from year 1 tournament to university in Brazil and pro match back in Japan the jump was just too abrupt and the pace constantly rushing to the end. A good manga overall, but I'm disappointed at how it ended.

In terms of Armitage Dual Matrix, when compared to season 1, I found that Armitage's face is less loli-esque, which is a minus for me. She's still the same short height, but there is no more "her being carried by Ross when she throws a tantrum", but I suppose that makes sense, given that she's a "mature mother" now. Still, she apparently has the same issues as Megaman, where all the upgrades from season 1 (the ones that she used to destroy 1000 enemy robots) appear to be missing. She lost her wings, but there's no reason why the rest aren't there.
