Is anyone following Oshi no Ko?
Also, wow. It's been a really, really long time since I posted here on Beast's Lair.

Finally read and finished Claymore in 3 days, it was too good I didn't want to stop.
I was always curious how manga went, after I finished anime years ago and I'm not disappointed. But have to say, that the plot escalated in unexpected way I felt overwhelmed for a bit. A lot of new characters and with my pacing I sometimes forget what was his/her name / what are their specialty.
and i'm diggin galatea in that nun outfit
now i wish we would get angel densetsu and claymore anime to the end...

Once and always and nevermore.
It's too bad the last episode of the animu went all to hell.

I think I dropped off Claymore right around the point they beat half of the big 3 monsters.
Binged All Of Gundam In 4 Years, 1 Week and All I Got Was This Stupid Mask
FF XIV: Walked to the End

Yes.
Claymore got weird.

I have the next two days off and since I have no new anime to watch while I drink, I'm going for a rewatch of one of my old standby's. It's too early in the year for KnK, so that leaves Slayers, Black Lagoon or Angel Betas. I don't need a cry so Angel Betas is out, and I recently watched Captain Tylor so I'm not feeling nostalgic for 90's animation, so Black Lagoon it is. I wonder if I'll get all the way to MegaMaid tonight....

I read more manga than I watch anime now.
So, let's see:
Sekitou Elegy
Jagaaaaaan
Elf-san wa Yaserarenai
Bijin Onna Joushi Takizawa-san
Rokudou no Onna-tachi
Out of those Rokudou no Onna-tachi is the best one.
Just got caught up on the Railgun manga because the anime was taking too long.
All I can say is... wtf is happening with Uiharu!?
Εven odds she turns out to be a secret boss or Magic Side plant and I don't even Railgun.

"Good Morning WARUDO!!!"
*Ahem*, this heatwave has killed all energy to do anything productive so I just sat on my butt and binge watched "Dr. Stone" across a couple days.
Goddamit, how you gonna spend all season building up to this war between the Kingdom and the Empire and then just end right as it's about to start. If there hadn't been the Season 2 announcement at the end I would've been so mad. Anyways, the show itself is really good. Fascinating premise with a bunch of entertaining characters. Can't wait to see where the story goes next! <3
Side note, watching the OP totally had me thinking this was going to be a Naruto-esque series except with science based powers instead of ninjutsu. The Kaseki segment in particular totally looks like he's firing a Hadoken from his hands or something. 'Course now I know he's just making glass with an overly dramatic camera angle. XD
"Here's a bangin lil' tune about takin' on The Man!"

Character-wise, Dr Stone is quite like Danganronpa IMO.
That manga has a certain "purity" (other would call it simplicity or naivete) that I find very appealing. Haven't seen the anime though.
don't quote me on this
It is by the writer of Kaguya. Gotta love Aka. I'm glad it started out weekly, I always felt Kaguya had pacing issues early on being on the biweekly occasionally monthly mess that was MJ with pacing and going to weekly helped it.
If you like it check out Shounen no Abyss.
