Ken really thought that all of the Digimon weren'tl living beings and used that to justify his actions as the Digimon Emperor. His whole breakdown is so bad too, the guilt just came crashing down after he lost.

I read the first volume of Jujutsu Kaisen 2 days ago because Tite Kubo liked it and it apparently draws inspiration from Bleach. It reminds me more of Muhyo and Roji since it leans more towards horror. Like Yuji eating a finger, didn't think I would see that again so soon after watching a certain movie, him losing a hand, or what happened to those people towards the end of the book. I don't know if I want to keep reading it after seeing all of that.
Spoiler:
So I got around to watching the Tanya movie (which was dubbed into everything but English) after binging the series a couple weeks ago. It felt like a movie, very little character moments. Which is a bit of a downer because there are a few really good jokes in there, like the bit where everyone is happy to finally be out of the desert, only to be smash cut to them being shoved into Russian winter. I just wanted more of Tanya's action saddling her with dangerous work, or normal people's reactions to how fucking crazy she seems.
I didn't know Studio Nut was the ones who animated the show and movie, but now Deca-Dence makes so much more sense.
7/10, about on par with a MHA movie, although it feels like the things that happen here aren't going to be sent to the filler dimension, since Pedo as a new antagonist combined with her new assignment feel like pretty big changes to the status quo.

I read Chainsaw Man. Well, when I said 'read' more like skimmed after it was super obvious who the true villain of the story was. So, like, what, chapter 15-20? I don't remember. I didn't much care for it to begin with, so yeah. Characters were fun. Generated lots of kick ass fanart, I think that's a plus.
As I get older I find I'm more into slow-paced 'boring' manga where barely anything exciting or 'action-y
happens. I guess you'd call it mundane slice of life? Escaping everyday life to read comics about everyday life.

Or I suppose a better way to word it as that's not entirely accurate either... hm, can't think of one, honestly. Dunno. Like, I much more enjoyed reading Again!! by Mitsurō Kubo than Chainsaw Man even if it the plot sort of lost itself after the first arc.
Maybe I just really didn't like Chainsaw Man. But that ain't true either, so...

There's a lot to not enjoy in Chainsaw Man, but your first comment is weird to me.
Yeah it was obvious but it's not like it was attempting to make it a mystery, it's more like it's obvious so that they can build tension in every scene she is in. There was mystery around her, but it was less about her role and more about what she was going to do. And why. And when.
It's hard for me to see her as the deal breaker for someone when she was what captured my interest for most of the comic.
Eh. Just not a fan.
Digimon Adventure 02 Episode 27: Man, Paildramon is so cool.
The older kids gave up their Crests and that's why their Digimon can't Digivolve to the higher levels, I was wondering about that. But the fact that they did it to protect the Digital World is pretty dumb considering what's happening now. It just makes it seem like they did for nothing. I didn't think they would reference the movie though, that was a shock.

Triage X done. Crazy action, great characters and hot girls who give lots of fanservice. Very fun show

Speaking of Jujutsu Kaisen, I've been interested in starting it which leads to the obvious question...anime or manga?
I ask because I've been re-reading the Golden Kamuy manga and man it has been trippy seeing how the anime adaptation skipped entire manga arcs that I completely forgot about and now my brain doesn't like the cognitive dissonance between how scenes sometimes play out completely differently between the two mediums. :/

I think most fans recommend the anime since the manga's art is fairly average outside of some stand-out scenes whereas the anime is MAPPA at their best. The anime adds to some scenes (mainly fights) but it's a pretty straightforward adaptation and I haven't heard anyone complain of skipping or changing important content.
Anime for sure. The manga's pacing is so fast it honestly comes across as a storyboard for the anime more than anything else. The anime doesn't change anything really, but the medium just allows for things to make more sense and generally polishes what the manga has already provided.

Also, I do feel that people overrate JJK. I like it, for sure, but I have problems with the pacing, especially with how fast things went to shit, and I think most of the characters aren't compelling enough.
I just like how Palidramon become a thing and immediately after Arukenimon decides to make BlackWarGreymon and he just beats him and all of the other Digimon. This miraculous fusion was just overcome by this powerful Mega Digimon. I also like how he's doing his own thing since he's stronger than his creator.
I also started reading Blue Exorcist and I'm really enjoying it. It turns out the first anime only covered the first 4 volumes. Kyoto Saga would start at volume 5. I have no idea why they just didn't make 12 episodes for the first season and just go from there know that I know that. I saw that they mentioned Rin and Yukio's mother's name here, so that did come from the manga then. The books also have facts about demons at the back of the book, like their levels or which Demon King they're under. There's one for water apparently.
Spoiler:
There's a reason the phrase Bones ending exists. Blue Exorcist, Full Metal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Ouran Host Club, and probably some others I don't remember.
