Holopainen's "The Life and Times of Scrooge"

If you like Nightwish, you know Tuomas Holopainen. If you like Dagobert Duck, you probably know Don Rosa, artist of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Now Holopainen did a collaboration with Rosa and the album that came out is all sorts of amazing. Check it out.







I'm a huge fan of Rosa's art and stories and this is basically something important for me since he often doesn't get the appreciation he deserves. This album is touching, especially if you are familiar with the stories and comics by him.

Don Rosa is the fucking man, and while Nightwish post-Tarja are kind of eh I'll definitely check this out.

Post-Tarja-Nightwish is fine imo, it's still Nightwish and some songs are even way better than when Tarja was kicking. Nothing will beat Dead Boys Poem tho. Also this is not Nightwish, only Holopainen.

And yeah Rosa is a god, one of my life plans is to get the full collection of his works.
