Not sure where else to fit this, but man, Star Wars Visions was amazing. Some of the shorts were really well directed, some had some interesting takes, some just plain looked fucking good, but all of them were definitely worth watching. The Village Bride, The Ninth Jedi and Lop & Ocho were definitely standouts, though. yeah fuck trigger I'm not including the twins whatchagonnado about it

Pity this thread hasn't had any posts for a while.
Anyway, been getting back into SWTOR (Star Wars The Old Republic) MMO. New expansion just came out recently, although its not really much of an expansion. There's been quite a few changes, some of which quite a few people have taken a great disliking to. I enjoy the game a lot myself, and not just because I am a big Star Wars fan.

Obi-Wan has been disappointment after disappointment ever since episode 1 and I don't even know where to complain.

Considering the amount of retcons (some to even Disney's own created SW entries), I'd say its perfectly legit to call the show non-canon and be done with it.

I haven't watched any of those, but I'd say probably Jurassic World.

Specifically: spoiler Obi Wan meeting Darth Vader ten years before their climactic meeting on the Death Star completely kills "When last we met, I was but the apprentice; but now I have become the Master" . It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's a big thing on top of many small things.

Oh yeah, that was a thing too. As for the other spoilerGrand Inquisitor, that's a title, not really a name, so maybe the guy who inherited it just happens to look like the old one. He shows up in the Jedi Survivor trailer too.

Man, in hindsight Qui-Gon was a bitch since everyone else seems to be able to survive a lightsaber going through their chest.

Maybe it's some kind of sliding scale where the older you get the more susceptible you are to lightsaber death. Qui-Gon was getting on in years so he died, but Maul and Anakin were young so they shrugged it off and got chromed up, or even that cantina alien. But once someone hits Obi-Wan's age, one shot and they just poof away. Windu only survived losing his hands because he's a Bad Mother Fucker, but that only works to intimidate lightsabers, not gravity.
