The main thing about that line is that it's an absolute spoken by a Jedi.

I mean there's a difference between acknowledging that absolutes exist and dealing in absolutes. Obi-Wan's statement was a responce to Anakin's "Offer" of being subordinate to him or being destroyed.

It's more about the fact that, as a Sith, Anakin refuses to acknowledge the existence of the middle ground. It's his way or the highway, and anything that inconveniences him/anyone who has a different perspective is an obstacle to be eliminated without question- even, for example, his loving and heavily pregnant wife.

Thing is, the "middle ground" for Obi-wan was just to walk away, which he, obviously, was not going to do.

Better late than never, finally got to watch Mandalorian season 2. Holy fucking shit what was that. Especially that last episode was easily movie quality all on its own. The Dark Trooper Dubstep's going on the playlist.

And I never got into the cartoons so I didn't even have most of the references going for me (I know who Ahsoka Tano is and I figured Bo Katan was a callback, but that was pretty much it). The season was end-to-end great.
