Oh, does anyone know if OR/AS save information is stored on the cartridge or if it's on the internal 3DS SD Card? Just found out that there's an improved 3DS (New Nintendo 3DS), so would rather just get a refund on my 3DS and use it to buy the New one.
It's saved on cart. I've tried both OR and AS on multiple 3/2ds'
You know, of all things that are what makes an RPG what it is, how is it that Nintendo and Game Freak have yet to implement a multiple save file feature in a mainstream Pokémon game? They've done this will pretty much all of their other franchises. What's stopping them for doing so for this one?

It's a cheating device, you can also use it to backup saves.
I figured it would be given that's been the case with all previous generations, but confirmation never hurts. Now to figure out how to make a backup of the file so that I can get ready for that New 3DS.
Edit: Unless the CFW I'm planning to run disables the region locking independent of the flash cart.
Edit 2: Yep, now to just wait for my New 3DS LL to get in.

Yeah, something like that, and it's amazing.
And costs around 20 bucks on Amazon.
Powersaves is indeed amazing. And it isn't even that expensive. I got mine for $15.

I wouldn't be surprised if you found at least a couple of shiny legendaries. I'm not sure if this is true, but I think there's an increased chance on the Mirage Spot legends being shiny.
When I went hunting for Dialga, on my first try I ran out of Premier Balls (I had over 400, mind you, my luck is EMIYA-tier), so I soft-reset 'cause screw actually closing the game. After crossing through the tear in space-time again, there was a beautiful shiny Steel/Dragon type bastard waiting for me on the other side. <3
Also, a friend of mine found a shiny Virizion and a shiny Mesprit in her first tries. The lucky fucker.
My luck is Lancer-tier, so I'll try to get more master balls and soft reset to get some shiny legends, mostly the ones that were shiny locked back then, like Reshiram.
Someone I know had to soft reset only 4 times to get a shiny Suicune.. I may try this with every legend until I get bored (less Kyogre, it seems it's shiny locked too), to compensate how I didn't soft reset in my X to get a good iv Xerneas. I was so lazy to do it that I still didn't get Zygarde, Zapdos and Mewtwo, they might be now dead in that cave xD
Can anyone explain the deal with Hoopa and Volcanion? I mean what the heck are they.
I've never read much about them, but their Pokedex entries say:
