He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Ours was lively throughout then completely lost their minds when Vegeta stepped in.
Haha yeah, I'm surprised how many people didn't know that much about the movie.
Audience went wild. And whenSpoiler:
It's a lot nicer having a lively audience, it was the same for Battle of Gods.
The character interaction was my favorite part. Just reading a dry description didn't do it justice.

The audience laughed at pretty much all of Freeza's shit talk.

Yeah, same thing with Battle of Gods. But I feel this had less of that to fit more action, and I didn't like the action that much.
Normally it's my favorite part, but Battle of Gods and RF's action just doesn't appeal to me except for some small highlights. In fact, I'd say that Battle of Gods had a fine amount of action despite the complaints... the problem wasn't quantity but quality, and the action just wasn't good.
Adding more doesn't fix the problem.
But anyway. The audience laughed a lot at the trash talk in my theater as well. English dub did a great job making those lines funnier with minimal changes, because I'd already seen many of the lines in Japanese and they didn't stand out.
OK DB Super, I don't think there's really a need to drag out this fight to make sure Oolong gets an opportunity to do anything.
I can already tell the next episode is going to bore me.
Come visit Mobius Space whereand post Type-Moon stuffquite rarelytranslators gather
Why do all the not named Goku or Vegeta suddenly think it's a good idea to take on an opponent that trashes Buu.
I know it's a development thing, but the faces Vegeta made freaking out about Bulma are far out there. The sushi chef has actually been doing the best job at delaying earth blowing up again.
A whole episode of characters freaking out over how OP main villan is while the fight everyone keeps waiting for keeps getting dragged out.
Feels like DBZ again. Good times.

Finally but FINALLY got to watching Resurrection F.
I have to say, it was an absolute blast to watch, a great movie with epic fights. I love how they took a much more mature outlook and view on it, as well as the dialogue very fitting for people who have grown up on Dragon Ball and have graduated from the child friendly attitude they had in the 90's, at least in the case of the English Dub.
While I wish it wasn't all just well, Goku kicking ass and Frieza losing so horribly, they managed to make it interesting at the very least, and it didn't feel like the whole restore back time thing was a deus ex machina too much. I do have to say that choosing Frieza was not only obvious but favorable because of how he is the most significant Dragon Ball villain to date.
All in all, great direction, and great movie, if a bit on the short side hahahaha.

Is Super done with the movies so I can watch it?
Nope, still not done with BoG.

How was it compared to the movie?

It was certainly way more intense. They fly into outer space and punch each other so hard that each blow was one countdown closer to blowing up the universe.

Sounds par on course for a boss fight in Dragon Ball.

And I had thought BoG was bad. It's just BoG with classic Toei padding and all the good jokes of BoG removed or butchered.
First two episodes are decent since they're more than just BoG 2.0, but after that it's all downhill.
It has a small amount of good moments but on the whole is vastly inferior.
Super Android 13 Abridged has come to save us from T4S's year of darkness.
Man, I'm really invested in the Dragonball super manga. I wished the anime would just skip over the movie stuff and go straight for that instead.
