At first I was excited, so I rushed onto YouTube, only to be disappointed by seeing a preview there. I watched it and then became happy again upon seeing that the full episode is up on their website.
That episode was absolutely magical.

I'm wondering how old Monaka is, cause it seems to me that if it hasn't been that long since Beerus awakened from his long sleep, he probably violates the idea that Freeza was the strongest in the universe when he fought Goku.

I'm starting to think that Universe 6 would be a better place for Earth, as long a Beerus doesn't throw a tantrum about losing if indeed he does lose.

Actually, one thing I do like about Super is that it's been setting up Vegeta as a secondary protagonist after Goku.
Also, Vegeta x Bulma is best couple. Seriously though, think about it. Videl gives up fighting after she marries Gohan. Goku constantly keeps Chi-Chi in the dark. Krillin has 18 stay home with the baby even though she's far more powerful than he is.
Vegeta? He lets Bulma keep up her super science thing and he's pretty honest when he's going to go train with a god of destruction. And, even though it pains him, he does try to spend time with Trunks and Bulma as a family.
I'm not saying Vegeta's a perfect husband or dad (Piccalo is best dad), but considering his past, he's come a long way.

Neither of them are strong enough to matter against actual threats by that point but 18 has a better chance of being able to handle whatever henchman might get through, and if they lose then she's the one with the better chance of escaping with their daughter because she has no detectable energy.

It would have made more sense for her to go out and fight than Krillin, who's PTSD fucked with him and almost caused him to die again.
Krillin should have taken the kid to Dende's and hid while 18 went off to go fight.

Just because everyone we've seen from universe 6 is much nicer than their universe 7 counterparts doesn't mean anything!

I can't speak to Super but in Resurrection F the argument is basically that 18 stays because she can protect the kid better and Frieza henchmen are a joke so Krillin can go do it.
Of course the actual answer is that she's considered less marketable but

Like krillin has essentially been a martial artist his entire life but on the other hand 17 and 18 were just more or less normal people until gero got them and transformed them into literal killing machines.
And we know that since then 17 at least has settled down, gotten married, adopted some kids and is living a peaceful life as a park ranger. I figured maybe 18 too might not really care for fighting. Like she's capable of defending herself but if her husband can handle it, then let him take care of it.
