The Adventure of the Velvet Room (Sherlock Holmes/Persona) (SB, FFN, AO3)
Blog with all of my Servants so far.
If that link goes to the trailer for "The Breakers" then I already gave my thoughts in the V.game news thread that are accurately summed up as "Dafuq is this?"
"Here's a bangin lil' tune about takin' on The Man!"

Does uh, does the fact a new chapter released belong in this thread? idk how this works
They seem to be focusing on narrative this arc and doing it well so far which has me in extreme panic because this is Dragon Ball we're talking about they're fuck it up and defecate on its corpse somehow.
Though that aside, it's been a pretty fucking great arc.
I'm not a fan of the "wishing to get stronger" part of it, but look forward to how Gas turns out.
But my favorite part of the arc is what they're doing with Vegeta. Especially the latest chapter. He clearly sees himself in Granola.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
Exactly how I feel about Vegeta, though I wasn't sure of how they were going to utilize Bardock the way they keep teasing that something odd happened during his fight with Gas (like him noticing a weakpoint or something) has gotten me to give them the benefit of the doubt a little.
I also don't like just wishing to be stronger, but so far this dragon seems to be about the theme of monkey's paw, and I'm going on a limb and saying that the weird hints about Gas vs Bardock might also be related to the downside of Elec's wish that Gas himself doesn't know about. There's also the second wish that's kind of completely unpredictable at the moment. If by the end of this arc more bad comes out of using these dragon balls than good I think it kind of justifies the mcguffiny nature of the power boost, as long as it has a thematic purpose.

I will say though so far the Granolah and Vegeta mirrored past theme has made for probably the best enemy dynamic since Frieza vs Goku in terms of the two fighters being innate opposites.
This is going to be the last one. I was hoping they would keep doing it. The Future Trunks/Goku Black was fun, but it had every problem that they talked about.
Spoiler:
It's only so low because it didn't reach the highs the other sagas did, but I don't think that should be a mark against it.
Spoiler:
There was some real highs with this saga, but the lows were so low. And I'll never like the Universe 6 Saiyans because of exactly what they said.
Spoiler:
As people pointed out, that saga is the only time the Spirit Bomb actually works in a fight.

Spoiler:
soo... gohan centric movie?
Chaldea Heroes
Personal skill
The enemy looks like a fusion between Saitama and Hit.
That said, a Gohan-centric movie would be nice! Hope it's a good one.
It's interesting that they decided to make this a full CGI movie when they got all those amazing people for Broly. It doesn't look that bad at all though.
