well no, that's not the basic principle of any given religion. Even if it were the case, I still think respecting all religions by allowing the consciousness' of those who believe in them to ascend to their respective afterlives is firmly better than to force the personalities of them to be wiped clean regardless of who they are.

The modern age can't have "heroes" in Nasuverse period. It's impossible. Proper Heroic Spirits cannot be born in the modern age; it's canon, and it's been canon since the VN first came out. Uh... King Arthur's story in all seemed pretty fantastic to me, even if obviously does not have the same scope as say, Hercules or Gilgamesh's. I suppose that's a matter of personal preference, even if I think it's very far from being something you can call "mundane BS" only because it's not absurd to the point of feats like holding the sky on your back. And you can't really complain at King Arthur's legend itself making the setting dull when Nasu hyped up Excalibur beyond anything in the actual recorded legends and made Arturia stand on the same ground as heroes like, again, Gilgamesh and Hercules. Blame Nasu for not hyping it further, if you must.

King Arthur had dragons and Merlin, a magic user who is also half magical/mythical creature.
If those two things are within the realm of human possibility, the world would be very, very different.

Fundamentally, a religion says "This is how the world works." and other religions say "No, this is how the world works." and even if one person doesn't care enough to stab the other guy over the argument, they still will categorically deny the mythology of any religion that isn't theirs.
Practically speaking, polytheistic religions are in the minority. They have a pretty good advantage in not blatantly denying other religions, since they won't get criticized as long as they practice quietly, and occasionally concede that "Jesus was pretty cool."
I mean nobody can logically believe that all religions are true and just rationalize away the contradictions.

when I say hero I don't mean hero in the spirit sense. I mean a morally grounded, good natured person who doesn't slaughter innocent people. No such person exists in the Nasuverse.

You've been calling them heroes so far, haven't you? We can't be expected to know which meaning you're using unless you say so beforehand.
This is actually relevant to one of my previous points. Do you truly think none of the heroes in the Nasuverse can be considered a morally grounded, good natured person? There's a conflict between morals and duty that heroes often have to endure. Saber did sacrifice innocents during her reign, but you honestly think that makes her any less of a good natured or morally grounded person in and of itself when she did it in the fulfillment of her self-imposed duty for what she believed was a good cause?
I don't think you're the one to decide what sources are wrong or right as far as superheroes are concerned, but I'll leave it at that. This is another subjective point we won't arrive at a conclusion from.
When people argue and question, it can be because they don't understand what they're listening to. Not because of disagreeing for its own sake. To disagree you need to understand what a person is saying.

other superheroes you might be right about but one of superman's core beliefs is not killing. He only ever broke that against two characters, DOOMSDAY , who killed him and in the animated Darkseid who frankly doesn't count because he's a fucking god and he wasn't actually dead.
arguments and questions for understanding are fine but that has to be a two way street, if they can come at me for answers or clarification then I should have equal rights to do so. Thus far I do not have the right.
