a while back, I told break if he posted another spoiler, left it on for five minutes, and then "remembered" to fix it, he would be banned. He did so two days later. He also did something similar at least 2 more times while we were discussing the vote to ban him for the first one.
As a result the final tally was not particularly surprising. I actually will miss him though. I think he tried to be a good poster sometimes, he just couldn't help himself, he liked shock value and being the center of attention to much.
imo the damage of flaming depends on how much you value the individual user as opposed to the entirety of the forum. You can easily ignore flaming when it's not directed at you most of the time. Spoilers, not so much.
I honestly think he was just too dumb to notice. He generally had troubles keeping up in conversations and stuff and not realizing when he was going over the line with certain shit.
Being dumb should of course not be a bannable offense by itself but if it affects other people like with spoilers you gotta decide in favor of forum health.

That was actually probably more an honest mistake on him, he put tags in but mixed the tags up to seal them off, so you saw

It was a talent.
Also for some reason his creepiest moments were absolute non sequiturs in General Discussion threads. I think that's why Tobias had him down as an attention seeker.
