Going back to an old topic.
I know it has happened. Someone shared a link (here, perhaps? I can't be bothered to look for it. The Mike lore permeates throughout this entire forum like a curse) to a post of Mike in an RP where he appears to, apparently apropos of nothing, write an extremely long segment where Shirou (or was it an OC?) had sex with Sakura. I don't know if there were ever any roleplays dedicated exclusively to erotic writing, but the incredibly mild reaction to whatever that was seems to suggest it was a regular occurrence. Older and more active users can probably elaborate more on this if they feel like it.

That was a lemon fic, which are/were definitely common but thankfully distinct from actual RP.

I could've sworn it was in a roleplay. It had timestamps and everything, plus it was posted on a thread. Maybe it was a contest or something. I've gotta find it again.
It was in an RP. However, most incredulous reactions from it happened in IRC, not on the forum. It became a bit of an RP community meme, people would bring it up every once in a while and dump it into the chat or link the post. It was definitely reacted to, just not in an easily archived way.
That makes sense, I remember being surprised at how people just seemed to gloss it over, but now I see why. It's unfortunate just how much stuff happened in IRC (for someone who's interested in BL history), since it's not like I can just go to the IRC Library and find exactly what I need and when it happened.
