He 100% did as it was airing. Something about how morality doesn't exist and the weak should cater to the strong. It was always real interesting to see him be so virulently anti-China in Gen News then turn around and praise those same practices when they showed up in an anime.

I'm not getting into what I've done for cute rl women because it's frankly embarrassing, the follies of youth, etc etc, but I can talk about the time I was tapped on the shoulder to appear on Millionaire Hot Seat four years after I auditioned, and decided my "what would you do if you won the million" answer would be "pay the authors to resume work on my favourite manga, which has been on hiatus for almost five years" (aka the manga my wife is from).

Now, I didn't win (but also didn't fail, very important), but as it so happened, they resumed work on the manga anyway and it's completed, so everything came up tsugumi in the end.

I can say all this stuff without fear of doxing myself because it didn't make the episode, as is the norm (there were six of us and most of our million dollar dreams didn't make it on).

Been out of this forum for quite some time, aside from some random lurking once per year. Decided to recover my password and change it to one that I'll remember later and thought "well, why not binge read this thread to bring myself up to speed?"

I'm at page 210, feels like I covered most of the landmark historical events and it's nice reading the fluff conversations in between. Quite entertaining so far.

I would rather read through the entire Encyclopedia Britannica backwards standing on my head than watch someone else bumble through a 2 hour video.
I seriously don't understand why people are so attached to this medium. There are things videos are the best ways of conveying information for (martial arts, for example) and then there's everything else that you could read the relevant information for in a fraction of the time a youtuber would take to read them for you.
